Disciple of Prayer
I was just fired from my job on ###. They said because I refused to go to monthly meetings. After ### years I felt burned out, mentally and physically depleted and stagnated. My wife is hounding me about missed income and bills. I have faithfully continued to trust God but I feel abandoned although I know he's right here with me.

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the challenges you are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in difficult times. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us; we see this in Hebrews 13:5. Trusting in God is essential and you seem to have this part correctly.

We would like to discuss how you are looking at the future. It is stated that you should not worry about tomorrow in Matthew 6:34. We should only worry about today and each day unto itself is enough.

Let's also address the situation with your wife. It's understandable that she may be concerned about finances, but it's crucial to approach this together in a godly manner and marriage is a team effort to resolve issues. We should be encouraging each other and building each other up in love. In Ephesians 4:32, we are told to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

It is important to pray together as a husband and wife. This should be done in Jesus' name. No other name has the power to save. We have no access to God without the name of Jesus. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 and be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10,12

In this challenging time, let's pray for God's guidance and provision.

Dear Lord, we come before You, you know the situation and lift up our brother who has lost his job. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround him and his wife. We ask for Your provision, that You would open new doors of opportunity for him. And may he listen to your will and follow your plan for him. We pray for unity and understanding between him and his wife, that they would support each other in love and trust in You together. We pray for his faith to be strengthened and that he would feel Your presence more than ever. Help them to rest in your promise to supply all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to know that his steps are ordered by you and that you know exactly where he is and where he is going. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, consider this a time of transition and trust that God has a better plan for you. Use this time to seek God's will and direction. Remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose in Romans 8:28.

We're really sorry to hear about your job loss, but we know that God is right there with you, just as He promised in Hebrews 13:5. We've been where you are, feeling abandoned and uncertain, but remember, God's got a plan even in this.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even when it's hard. He sees you, He knows your situation, and He's got a purpose in all this. In fact, we believe that God is using this time to draw you closer to Him and to help you grow in your faith.

We understand that your wife is worried about the bills, but let's approach this together, as a team. 1 Peter 3:7 tells us to live with our wives in an understanding way, showing honor to them. Let's encourage each other, forgive each other, and build each other up in love, just as Ephesians 4:32 tells us.

Let's pray together, in Jesus' name. There's power in His name, and we know that no other name has the authority to save us. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

So, let's pray for God's guidance and provision. Let's ask Him to comfort you and your wife, to open new doors of opportunity, and to strengthen your faith. Let's trust that God knows what He's doing, and that He's got a better plan for you. As Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's will. He's got this, and He's got you.

🙏 "‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be kept Holy.
Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
