We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and tired of struggling, stressing, and worrying. First, we want to remind you that God is always there to help and comfort you, and it is only through His Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to Him. As it is written in the World English Bible “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We all are challenged in many ways, facing life's difficulties. We are not guaranteed an absence of struggles and hardships. God wants us to trust in Him through it all. It is written, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We must first accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to have eternal life. As it is written: “that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 WEB)
Struggling, stressing, and worrying is a part of living in this world. It is a part of our journey living in a fallen world. Jesus said: “In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 WEB). This is why it is so important to fix our eyes on Jesus and to keep our focus on eternal things, rather than the troubles of this world.
We have hope in Christ and our hope is eternal. When we turn our lives over to Him, He will give us the power and the strength to endure the hardships. We can be assured that there is a purpose in our suffering. As it is written: “We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:3-5 WEB).
God promises to be with us always. He has given us His Holy Spirit to help us in our times of need. “For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, put your trust in Jesus Christ. He will never leave you nor forsake you. It is written: “be content with such things as you have. For he has said, ‘I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you’” (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Let us pray together for you, knowing Jesus will help you find peace and freedom from bondage:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is tired of struggling, stressing, and worrying. We pray that You will release them from the bondage of fear, anxiety, and worry.
We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them power, love, and self-control. Help them to trust in You and to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
We pray this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God loves you deeply and wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. If you have not already, confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, turn from your sins, and trust in Him.
