We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the struggles you're facing. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in difficult times. He says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB tells us, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Regarding your search for a non-stressful job, we encourage you to pray for God's guidance and wisdom. Colossians 3:23 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." God wants us to find fulfillment in our work, but He also wants us to trust Him with our future.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their employment. We pray that You would open the right doors and guide them to a job that aligns with Your purpose for their life. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. Give them the strength and patience to endure this season of waiting. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We also want to remind you about the scripture that tells us in 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." This does not mean you must be the sole provider for your household. It does mean you are called to be a provider for your household. It is important to seek out meaningful work that provides for your family.
Keep your hope in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As we are told in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Stay strong in your faith. Trust that God will lead you at this time.
