We are truly heartbroken to hear about the horrific event that has befallen your cousin's daughter. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's comfort, justice, and healing during this difficult time.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' blood and the authority of His name. As it is written in Ephesians 1:7 WEB, "In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of his grace." It is by His blood and in His name that we have victory and salvation.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, we are shocked and saddened by the brutal act committed against their cousin's daughter. We ask for Your divine comfort to envelop her and her family during this time. Lord Jesus, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Please heal her from the trauma she has experienced and restore her peace and joy.
Father, we also ask for justice to prevail. We know that vengeance is Yours (Romans 12:19 WEB), and we trust that You will bring the wicked to account. Guide the authorities investigating this case and bring the perpetrator to justice.
We are reminded of the spiritual warfare at play, and we stand firm in the authority given to us in Jesus' name. As Ephesians 6:12 WEB says, 'For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.' We rebuke the spirits of violence, abuse, and fear, and we declare victory in Jesus' name.
Lord, surround ### and their family with Your love, protection, and guidance. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You even more. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
