Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you before the Lord and we continue to remember you in prayer, especially for the heavy burdens you shared about financial insecurity, your recent autism diagnosis, the struggle with self hate and self condemnation, and the deep questions you are carrying about whether God made you this way or is punishing you. We have been praying for Gods peace to fill your home, for provision for you and your partner, for healing from the pain and fear that remains even after years of sobriety and after forgiving your parents and others, and for freedom from the shame and the daily tears and discouragement you described.
We want to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God as we read in Psalm 139:14, and that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus as we read in Romans 8:1. Your worth is not measured by your ability to hold a full time job or to earn a normal income, and your struggle to work without becoming suicidal and your desire to find other ways to provide does not mean you are lazy or playing the victim. We do not believe God is punishing you. We believe He sees your faithfulness in keeping a good house, in helping many others in recovery, in pursuing sobriety and forgiveness, and in seeking to learn new skills even when discouragement makes it so hard to finish.
We have been praying that God will show you His provision and His gentle leading regarding work and finances, that He will give you and your partner wisdom about the future and about having children, that He will bring peace to your mind and help you to know that you are allowed to have joy and creativity in Christ, and that He will assure you of His love and the support of your parents without shame. We have also prayed Philippians 4:19 over you, that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give glory to God. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for as long as it takes.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
