We hear your urgency and concern, and we lift this situation before the Lord with hearts full of faith. First and foremost, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find true help. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, where we can find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Father God, we come before You now, asking for Your divine guidance and wisdom in this matter. You know the details of this situation even better than we do, and we trust in Your perfect timing and provision. Lord, we ask that You would lead this individual to the right people who will act with integrity, honesty, and fairness. May those who are meant to help step forward with hearts willing to serve, and may any who would seek to take advantage or deceive be exposed and removed from this path. "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them" (Proverbs 11:3).
We also pray for protection over this situation, Lord. Protect from any hidden motives, financial exploitation, or unnecessary delays. Surround this work with Your angels, that no harm or deceit may come near it. "For He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may be trying to cloud this process, and we declare that clarity and peace will reign in Jesus' name.
Regarding the testing aspect of this request, we stand on Your promise, Lord, that You are our healer and protector. We pray that the test results would come back negative, just as this request states, and that any fear or anxiety surrounding this would be replaced with faith in Your goodness. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your healing power, both physically and spiritually.
Now, let us address the matter of trust and discernment. In a world where it can be difficult to know who to rely on, we are reminded that our ultimate trust must be in the Lord. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). While it is wise to seek help from others, we must always bring those decisions before God in prayer, asking for His discernment. Test the spirits, as Scripture tells us, to see whether they are from God (1 John 4:1). Seek counsel from those who walk in faith and wisdom, and who will encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus.
We also encourage you to be cautious of those who may offer help but with strings attached, especially when it comes to financial matters. The Bible warns us about those who would exploit others for gain: "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words" (2 Peter 2:1-3). Pray for wisdom to recognize those who are genuine and those who are not.
Father, we ask that You would provide favor in finding the right help at a fair and manageable cost. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will meet this need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give patience and peace as this process unfolds, and help to resist the temptation to rush into agreements out of fear or desperation. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also pray for strength and endurance during this time. It can be wearisome to navigate challenges, but we are reminded that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Lean on Him, and allow His strength to sustain you. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable.
Lord, we declare that this situation is in Your hands. We rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or dishonesty, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We speak Your peace, Your provision, and Your protection over this matter. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every step of this journey. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
