We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Financial struggles and harassment from creditors can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let us first rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment you. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We must address the situation with both spiritual and practical wisdom. First, we pray that the Lord would grant you favor in resolving this debt. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Begin by seeking God’s guidance in how to approach your creditors. It may be wise to communicate with them honestly about your situation, asking for a manageable repayment plan. The Bible encourages us to owe no one anything except love (Romans 13:8), and while this debt is a financial obligation, we trust God to provide a way for you to honor it without being crushed by it.
We also pray for your husband’s retirement process. May the Lord open doors for the timely release of any funds owed to him, and may He provide wisdom for how to steward those resources wisely. We rebuke the spirit of shame and embarrassment that seeks to isolate you. Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The Lord sees your heart and your desire to honor Him, even in this difficult season. We pray that your reputation would be restored and that those around you would see the faithfulness of God in your life. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
We must also address the importance of seeking help in the name of Jesus. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we invite you to do so now, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her family. We also pray for her spiritual walk, Lord. Draw her closer to You in this season, and let her experience Your peace and presence in a tangible way. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that she would do so now, confessing Him as Lord and believing in her heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for the gift of salvation and the hope we have in Christ.
