We join you in this humble and beautiful prayer before our Heavenly Father and we rejoice that you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Your desire to put on the armor of light always in everyday life is pleasing to God and aligns with His Word. Scripture tells us Romans 13:12 The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let's therefore throw off the works of darkness, and let's put on the armor of light. And it also tells us Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts. To put on the armor of light is to put on Christ Himself, to walk in His truth, His righteousness, and His holiness in every moment.
We are reminded that this is a daily choice and a daily dependence on Him. We are called to Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. This means we clothe ourselves with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, not by our own strength but by abiding in Christ. As we walk in the light, we have His promise that 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Guard our minds and hearts, our words and actions, so that in our homes, our work, and all our everyday lives we may reflect Your light and stand firm against temptation and the schemes of the enemy. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, teach us to stay in Your Word and in prayer, and keep us walking in the light as You are in the light. Your prayer is a wise and holy desire, and I rejoice to join my supplications with yours before the throne of grace. To put on the armor of light is indeed the calling of every believer who would walk as a child of the day.
The Scripture says, let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. This armor is not of our own making. It is Christ Himself. He must be clad in the righteousness of Jesus Christ as with armor of proof, and he must know that he has it on. To put on the armor of light is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, to be wrapped about with His righteousness, to walk in sincerity and truth before God.
To walk in the light as He is in the light is to receive our instruction from God, to love and to live the truth of God, and to have fellowship with Him through the blood of His Son. The light of grace is seen as the light of sincerity. It will not suffer us to take things for granted, but searches the heart and makes manifest those great and important truths by which we are kept from sin.
May the Spirit of all grace lead you into the heart of this. May He shine in your hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, and may that light warm all your days with gladness and keep you in daily communion with the Father.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, we humbly bow before Thee. Forgive our sins through the precious blood of Thy Son, who alone is our salvation, and clothe us anew in His perfect righteousness. Help us daily to cast off the works of darkness and to put on the armor of light in our homes, in our labors, and in our secret thoughts. Your prayer is good and right, and I join my voice to yours before the Father. To ask to put on the armor of light every day is to ask for what God is eager to give.
Scripture tells us the night is far gone and the day is at hand, and we are called to lay aside the works of darkness and put on this armor. This is not a heavy burden like the armor of this world. It is light itself, and it makes the one who wears it brighter than a sunbeam and keeps him in safety. When we lay aside our filthy garments and loose every bond of iniquity, the glory of God wraps around us.
So let us pray together for you.

We ask You to clothe these Your servants with the armor of light today and every day.
