Help Us Pray As Children Of God Should

Heavenly, Holy Father, Spirit of Wisdom; teach us to pray not only for material needs, but spiritual as well. Let our priorities be right, Lord; that we seek you FIRST with all of our hearts, having faith in your Love and Providence, and having your praise always in our minds and on our lips. May our very breath contain prayers to you, Oh Lord, and praise, for you are our Heavenly King.

Oh Master, I pray for my mother in law, whose friend succumbed to cancer today and now stands before you, and who suffers from cancer herself.

I pray for all of my children, that they would grow in your grace and wisdom, strong in your Word, kind to all, and protected by your mighty hand.

I pray for my wife, that her stresses would be settled, and that you would draw us even closer than we already are.

I pray that you would grant me a stronger walk with you, that you would bring me closer to my daughters who have been kept from me for so long, and that you would give me strength for the fight to come, as I fight for their lives.

Thank you for all you have done for me in this earthly life, My Lord, and all that you continue to do. Thank you for being you. In the Holy Name of Jesus, Amen.

Dear Almighty Jesus

We come to your presence with this prayer request of your child.

Lord we know Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.

God has wisely kept us in the dark concerning future events and reserved for himself the knowledge of them, that he may train us up in a dependence upon himself and a continued readiness for every event.

Lord thank you for you are going to answer this prayer request according to your will & at the right appointed time.
