Help to wake soon

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Have to wake in a few hours, however my sleep hours have changed since taking this new vits and supplements, please help get some good rest meanwhile so much to get done. Please guide and direct us in and in these Urgent matters Jesus. Miracle open doors soon, and your strength wisdom and protection, amen

We hear your urgency and the weight of the tasks before you, and we join you in bringing this before the Lord. The need for rest and the pressure of responsibilities can feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is the God of peace who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). He invites us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

First, let us address the matter of your sleep. While vitamins and supplements can be beneficial, we encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord in all things, including what you put into your body. "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). Pray for discernment and consider consulting with a healthcare professional to ensure these supplements align with God’s design for your health.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the demands and the fatigue they are facing. We ask that You grant them deep and restorative rest in these few hours, that their body and mind may be renewed. Calm their spirit, still their thoughts, and let them sleep in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Prepare them for the tasks ahead, and let them wake refreshed and ready to serve You.

Father, we also pray for the doors that need to be opened. You are the One who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You go before them, making the path clear and removing any obstacles. Grant them wisdom to know how to proceed, strength to persevere, and protection from anything that would seek to harm or distract them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your will and accomplish all that You have set before them.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or weariness that would seek to steal their peace or hinder their productivity. We declare that those who wait for You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Let this be their reality today.

We also encourage you to surrender your plans and your time into the Lord’s hands. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." Trust that He will order your steps and provide exactly what you need in this season. Even in the busyness, take moments to pause and invite His presence into your day. Remember, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10).

Finally, we want to gently remind you that our strength and help come from the Lord alone. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through this relationship with Him that we find true rest, peace, and purpose.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is at work even now.

We know how rattling it is to see the clock tick toward morning while sleep won’t come, especially when there’s so much pressing on the day ahead. It can leave you feeling physically drained and mentally scattered, and we’re sorry you’re in the middle of that tonight. We’re praying with you for whatever rest God grants in these remaining hours, and for steady energy when you do need to rise.

A couple of things strike us. The sleep disruption you mentioned started with new vitamins and supplements, and that can sometimes be a hidden culprit, certain B vitamins or timing of doses, for instance, can keep people wired. It might be worth checking with your doctor or pharmacist about whether what you’re taking could be contributing, and if a different timing or formulation might help. In the meantime, when sleep is elusive, sometimes the most restful thing we can do is stop chasing it and simply rest in God’s presence. Lying quietly, releasing the to-do list to him, and letting go of the pressure to “achieve” sleep can actually invite the calm our bodies need.

We’re also mindful of your broader request for open doors and guidance. When we’re exhausted, even normal responsibilities can feel like urgent crises. As you move through these next days, we hope you’ll be gentle with yourself, perhaps trimming what can wait, and entrusting the truly urgent things to God’s direction and strength. He sees what you’re carrying and is not limited by a rough night.

Father, thank you that you neither slumber nor sleep. Please quiet this dear person’s mind and body now, and provide whatever genuine rest is possible before morning. Give wisdom about the supplements and what is best for this body you made. Direct the path ahead, open the right doors, and be their strength and clarity in every task. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Man speaks of sleep as though God’s gift were a small thing, yet “he giveth his beloved sleep.” Your very frame, unsettled by these new draughts, cries out for what only the Almighty can bestow by a soft and balmy influence. Yet I fear a far graver peril lurks within this request, a soul that would sleep when it ought to wake. There is a sleep that is of death, a delusion of peace where there is no peace. Men dream of better times coming, a time of rest and ease, and while they dream, the storm gathers. Jonah slept in the sides of the ship while every man called upon his God, and you would seek a pillow of bodily rest while there is so much to be done for the Master? “Let us not sleep, as do others.” The rest you crave for the body must not become the slumber of a soul that thinks its spiritual goods are laid up for many years and now takes its ease.

Consider what rest truly is. There is a rest given, a present and perfect rest, to those who come to Jesus, an end to the weariness of guilt and self-striving. “We who have believed do enter into rest.” This is not the rest of sleep, but of holy activity, like the birds that sleep upon the wing. It is rest in service, the easy yoke of learning of Him. Have you entered into that rest? If you are fretting over open doors and urgent matters, have you truly taken your place at His feet? Trust and you shall rest. The fountains for cleansing and revival are open still; wash in them and your fevered cares shall be cooled. You ask for guidance and strength; this is found not in clamorous haste, but in bowing with submission to His will, for that very posture furnishes unerring guidance. Haste authors a great deal of mischief.

The path is not a mystical trance but a “rest after rest.” First the gift, then the finding as you learn of Him. If your mind were conformed to the mind of Christ, you would find that abiding, growing rest for your soul. The present turmoil over these supplements and the undone tasks is but a symptom. Return unto your rest, O your soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with you. Away with the paper knife of your own anxieties; cut open the page and test your thoughts by the Word. Does your heart accord with it? Lay your head upon the pillow of God’s sovereignty, a pillow hard to the unspiritual man but soft as down to faith. The body may lie restless, but the spirit can revel even now in delight, bathing in bliss, a rest from earth’s turmoil far better than any slumber. That is the sleep He gives His beloved. Seek that first, and even a few hours’ bodily rest shall be sanctified. “So he giveth his beloved sleep”, a sleep of security in Him, not a sleep unto death.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Why do you allow the hour of waking to cast you into such anxiety, as though your own prudence could add a single measure to your life? The rest you seek in these new supplements is a feeble wisdom, the sort that the world calls wise but which God has shown to be foolishness. If the body refuses sleep, consider that God may be calling you to a different vigilance, not one of fretting over tasks undone, but of prayer and praise, as Paul and Silas did at midnight in their bonds. They had been beaten, thrust into the inner prison, and fastened in stocks, yet they did not despair over lost sleep; they sang hymns to God, and suddenly the doors flew open, and every chain was loosed.

Do you desire doors to open for your urgent matters? Then cease striving by your own contrivances and entrust yourself to the One whose wisdom is mightier than all human understanding. True rest, the kind that remains for the people of God, is not found in a certain number of hours on the pillow, but in casting your care upon Christ. Have you not read that those who belong to Him have no cause for sadness when evening falls, no dread of robbers or anxious thoughts about the day ahead?

The Lord who preserves you in sleep is the same Lord who grants strength for the waking. Let this brief trial of sleeplessness teach you the poverty of human help and drive you to the unshakable rest that is found only in Him. Pray, then, and commit your body’s need and your work into His hands, trusting that whether you sleep or rise, His power is made perfect in your weakness, and the doors He opens no one can shut.

A few hours of sleep ahead, a mind full of tasks, and a body that won’t settle, that’s a hard place. I understand the urgency in your words, the longing for both deep rest and open doors. The real rest you need right now isn’t just physical sleep, though I pray God grants you that. The rest that sustains is the kind Jesus spoke of when He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” That rest is for your soul, the inner quiet that holds steady even when your schedule has been thrown off.

Sometimes the very thing that unsettles us becomes a doorway to learn what it means to truly rest on God. When our own strength fails and our own plans crumble, we’re brought to the end of our own resources. That is exactly where He can teach us to cease from our striving and simply trust His finished work. You mentioned new supplements changing your sleep, that’s a small thing in His hands, yet a real opportunity. Instead of fretting over the lost hours or the long to-do list, you can commit the whole mess to Him. Tell Him, “Lord, I can’t fix this, but You can carry it. I’m going to rest in You even if my body can’t settle.” That act of faith pleases Him more than a perfect night’s sleep ever could.

The Scripture reminds us that there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. It’s a rest we enter by believing, not by arranging our circumstances to be just right. Faith is the key. And because God’s will is always good, even when we don’t understand it, you can rest in His will being done. Not a passive, lazy rest, but the deep confidence that He is able to handle every urgent matter you’ve lifted up. He knows the doors you need opened. He sets before His people open doors that no one can shut, and He closes doors we should not try to force. Right now, in this sleepless hour, your part is to trust His timing and His leadership.

So let this be a moment of holy yielding. You’ve asked for guidance, strength, wisdom, and protection. Those are all found in close fellowship with Him. Tell Him you’re open to whatever He chooses, even if it means a tired morning. Rest in the fact that He is in control, and as you wait on Him, He will renew your strength. The weary find rest in Him, not always by sleeping more, but by casting every anxiety on Him and knowing you are safe. In that place of honest dependence, you can still lie down in peace, even if sleep tarries, because the Lord is your keeper.
