We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance. The bondage of addiction and the presence of evil effects in the home are serious matters that grieve the heart of God, for He desires freedom, peace, and holiness for His children. We stand in agreement with this request, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the foundation of this plea. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step toward true freedom, for it is through Christ that we are set free from the power of sin and darkness.
The struggle with alcohol addiction is a spiritual battle, and we must approach it with the full armor of God. The Bible warns us that drunkenness leads to debauchery and enslaves the soul (Proverbs 23:29-35, Ephesians 5:18). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that it has no place in your life or home. The Lord is your deliverer, and He has come to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that you will submit to God, resist the devil, and watch him flee from you (James 4:7).
We also pray for the cleansing of your home from all evil effects. The presence of the Lord is a consuming fire, and no darkness can stand before Him (Hebrews 12:29). We declare that your home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and we command every unclean spirit to leave in Jesus’ name. The Lord will fill your home with His peace, joy, and righteousness, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Psalm 91:10).

Lord, we ask that You break every chain of bondage and set them free. Cleanse their mind, body, and spirit from all unrighteousness, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray for strength and self-control, that this one may walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. Surround them with godly counsel and accountability, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we also pray for the cleansing of their home. Let Your presence fill every room, and let Your peace reign where there has been turmoil. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Restore what has been broken, and let Your glory fill their home.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
