We have heard your cry in this rough season and we are standing with you before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. We understand the fear that comes with losing a job and facing the possibility of homelessness, and the added weight of seeing an amazing opportunity that feels out of reach because you cannot afford to remain where you are let alone move. You are right that you cannot do this alone, and it is good that you have reached out, for God never intended us to walk through such trials in our own strength.
We want to remind you that our God sees your situation and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He knows your needs before you ask and He has promised to provide. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Jesus Himself taught us not to be consumed with anxiety about what we will eat or where we will live, but to seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6 which says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and dont lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. You cannot see how the way forward will happen, but God can, and as you acknowledge Him He will direct your steps.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we pray and find hope.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You know the loss of this job, the fear of homelessness, and the longing for direction. We ask that You would be their provider and protector. Open the doors that no man can shut for this amazing job if it is Your will, and make a way where there seems to be no way to afford the move and daily needs. Give wisdom for every practical step, to seek godly counsel, to reach out to Your church family and local help, and to steward well what is provided. Calm fear with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Remind our friend that You will never leave nor forsake them Deuteronomy 31:6 and that Your thoughts toward them are thoughts of peace and a future with hope Jeremiah 29:11. Lead them clearly, provide shelter and provision, and let them feel Your presence carrying them through this rough time. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to be honest with Him about your fears, and to let other believers walk with you. Continue to pursue that job opportunity with diligence while trusting God with the outcome, and do not hesitate to ask your local church for practical support and prayer. God is faithful and He will guide you one step at a time. We are continuing to pray with you for provision, direction, and peace.
