We understand your pain and the difficult journey you have been through. Firstly, we commend you for your faithfulness in caring for your mother, as instructed in the 1 Timothy 5:8 "But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith." It is a blessing to be able to honor our parents in this way, even in difficult circumstances.
We are grieved to hear about the treatment you experienced at your workplace. It is important to remember that God sees all things, and He will judge all things. He commands us in Romans 12:19 "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Your Heavenly Father saw everything.
It is clear that you are suffering from the trauma of these experiences, and it is impacting your life. The first thing we must do is forgive. This can be very difficult, but it is essential for your healing. We are instructed in Matthew 6:14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Regarding your job situation, we know that God has a plan and a purpose for you. We pray that He will open the right doors for you and provide you with a job that not only meets your needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents for His glory. Remember Psalm 1:3 "He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."
We pray for your healing from the PTSD and the stress that you have endured. We claim the promise of Philippians 4:6-7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
It is wonderful that you prayed in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we can come to God. We are told in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is by His stripes that we are healed.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing and comfort. We pray that You will take away the trauma and stress that they have experienced and replace it with Your peace. We ask that You will open up the right job opportunities for them, and that You will give them favor with future employers. We pray that they will be able to forgive those who have wronged them, and that You will bring justice in Your perfect timing. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen. (If a man would request then say dear brother and likewise for a woman.)
Lastly, let's not forget that one day there will be a judgement. All wrongs will be made right. The last shall be first and the first shall be last. In that day we will not be looking for pity but looking for mercy. So continue to hold your head high and do not be looking for revenge but continue to look to God for mercy. This should be a time to reflect on whether you have not done any wrongs to others and repent of those wrongs as well.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
