We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up those in authority and the workers under their charge. First, we must acknowledge that all authority is established by God, as Romans 13:1 tells us, "For there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." This means we are called to pray for those in leadership, that they may govern with wisdom, justice, and integrity.
Father, we ask that You grant wisdom to those in authority. May they seek Your guidance in their decisions, as Proverbs 2:6-7 declares, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright." We pray that they would not be burdensome to those they lead but would instead create an environment where workers can thrive and do their jobs with excellence. Help them to understand the weight of their responsibility and to act with fairness and compassion.
We also lift up the workers, asking that You strengthen them in their labor. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Lord, we ask that You bring skill, diligence, and joy to their work. Where there is frustration or injustice, we ask that You intervene and bring resolution according to Your will.
Regarding the specific mention of plumbing, we recognize that even the practical aspects of life are under Your care. We ask that You provide the knowledge and resources needed to ensure that systems function properly, for You are a God of order and provision.
Now, we must address the mention of injustices. We know that injustice is a grievous sin in Your sight, and we are called to seek justice and righteousness. Micah 6:8 says, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" Father, we ask that You expose and correct any injustices in the workplace or in the systems of authority. Bring Your light to areas of darkness and hold accountable those who misuse their power. At the same time, we ask that You give patience and perseverance to those who are suffering under injustice, reminding them that You are their ultimate Judge and Defender.
We also notice that this prayer did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the blood of Jesus that we can approach You with our prayers and petitions. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We've been reminded of Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes." Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We are so grateful you trusted us to lift your burdens before the Lord.
