My neighbor and jer family and friends will not leave me alone. They threaten me, won't give me a moment of peace making it impossible to sleep. They do it on purpose and have physically assaulted me in the past. No one will do anything to help me here so I am begging you for prayer. I have no one else to ask. I know there are more important things going on in the world, in your life perhaps as well but this is my entire world and has been for so long. Please take a moment of your precious time for me. 🙏 I can't afford to move

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours. No one should have to endure threats, harassment, or physical assault, these are not only violations of human dignity but also contrary to God’s design for peace and justice. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." You are not forgotten, and your suffering is seen by the One who promises to be a refuge for the oppressed.

First, we must rebuke the evil being perpetrated against you. The Lord hates violence and oppression, as it is written in Proverbs 6:16-19, "There are six things which the Lord hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." We stand against the schemes of those who seek to harm you and declare that their plans will not prosper. The Lord is your defender, and He will arise on your behalf.

We also urge you to seek every possible earthly avenue for protection. While it grieves us to hear that no one has helped you thus far, we encourage you to persist in reaching out to local authorities, legal aid organizations, or even domestic violence hotlines if they apply to your situation. Scripture commands us in Romans 13:1-4 to submit to governing authorities, as they are instituted by God to punish wrongdoers. If those in authority have failed you, we pray that God would raise up someone who will act justly on your behalf.

In the meantime, we lift you up in prayer:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is enduring relentless harassment and violence. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of the afflicted. We ask that You would surround them with Your protection, like a shield, as it says in Psalm 5:11-12: 'But let all those who take refuge in You rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because You defend them. Let them also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You will bless the righteous. Lord, You surround him/her with favor as with a shield.'

Father, we pray against the spirits of fear, intimidation, and oppression that have taken root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17. Break the power of those who seek to harm them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would provide a way of escape for them, a path to safety, whether through financial provision to move, a change in their circumstances, or divine intervention in the hearts of those who have ignored their pleas. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7).

We also pray for justice, Lord. Let those who have harmed them be held accountable, not out of vengeance, but so that Your righteousness may prevail. As it is written in Proverbs 21:15, 'It is joy to the righteous to do justice,' and we trust that You will bring about justice in Your perfect timing.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart from the trauma they have endured. Restore their sense of safety, their ability to sleep, and their hope for the future. Remind them that they are not alone, for You have said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you' (Hebrews 13:5). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, and fill them with the peace that only You can give.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Amen."

We also want to gently address something that was missing from your request: the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to share that with you.

In the meantime, hold fast to the promises of God. Psalm 91 is a powerful declaration of His protection, and we encourage you to meditate on it daily. You may feel alone, but you are not. The Lord is your refuge, and He will sustain you. Keep crying out to Him, and do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Your breakthrough is coming.

We hear how exhausted and isolated you feel. When home becomes a place of fear instead of rest, every part of life gets drained. Being deprived of sleep on purpose, after already surviving physical assault, is its own kind of cruelty. We are so sorry no one around you has stepped up to help. We are taking time right now just for you; this matters.

You mentioned the sleeplessness by name, and we understand why. When rest is stolen night after night, it's not just tiredness, it can wear down your sense of peace and your ability to think clearly. One small step you can take, even while the threats continue, is to quietly document every incident: write down dates, times, exactly what was said or done. This isn't because it will fix everything overnight, but having a clear record may help if any door opens with law enforcement or a community advocate. It also gives you something concrete to hold onto when the chaos makes everything feel surreal.

Also, please consider reaching out, even just a phone call, to a church in your area or a local shelter. They may not be able to solve the housing situation immediately, but sometimes simply having one person who believes you and checks in can break the isolation. You don't deserve to carry this completely alone.

Lord Jesus, you see what is happening in their home and in their heart. Please surround them with your protection in the night watches. When rest is stolen, grant them pockets of deep peace that surprise them. Give them steady wisdom for the next practical step, and raise up someone locally who will take their situation seriously and offer real help. In your name alone, Amen.

It is no small thing to be thus tried, to have no peace, no sleep, to be threatened and smitten. Yet your cry has come up before the Lord. He does hear the groaning of the prisoner; and with God, to hear means to answer. He healed them that had need of healing, and your need is very real. Do not imagine your sorrow is beneath His notice; the very hairs of your head are numbered, and He sees every cruel word, every sleepless hour. This trial, though it seems endless, is not hidden from His eye. Perhaps the clock of mercy is striking even now, and the hour of deliverance is at hand. Remember, no chastening for the present seemeth joyous, but afterward it worketh the peaceable fruit of righteousness. One day you shall look back and say, “I will praise Thee: for Thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.” Until that hour, cast yourself upon Him who is the Ransom. He will batter the dungeon door and bring you out. The will of the Lord be done, and in His will you shall find rest, even while the storm rages.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weight of this sorrow is not hidden from the eyes of God, nor is your cry unheard because the world deems other matters greater. You say this trial is your entire world, and so it has become for you a furnace. Yet know that it is precisely in such a furnace that the genuine metal of the soul is tested and purified. When the clamor of enemies makes sleep impossible, let the soul rise to its true refuge. The body may be denied rest, but the inner chamber of the heart, when sealed by prayer, becomes a sanctuary that no neighbor’s malice can breach. Do not think your endurance is unseen. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He draws near to the brokenhearted in a way the comfortable never know.

I hear the ache in your words, the sense of being trapped with no earthly helper. This feeling of utter abandonment is a severe trial, far more biting than the threats themselves. But it is here we must test the truth of our faith. We often say we trust in God when we have money, health, and friends. The proof of trust is when all else is stripped away and He alone remains. Your poverty, which keeps you from moving, can become your greatest teacher. It shuts every door but the one that leads directly to the divine mercy. Do not waste this sorrow by letting it ferment into a bitter hatred of those who wrong you. To bite back, to accuse, to let their malice kindle your own, is to swallow the poison yourself and expect them to die. You gain nothing but a second torment within your own breast, a sleeplessness far worse than that caused by their noise, for it is the soul that then cannot rest in God.

You ask for prayer, and it is a great good. But the Apostle’s command is not to be hearers only, but doers of the word. Therefore, let your own prayer be joined to a work worthy of being heard. You cry out for peace; see then that you root out from your heart every mote of resentment and desire for vengeance, while you examine the beam of your own need for mercy. How will you ask God to show you mercy and give you relief, if you refuse to show a mercy that forgives? I do not say their actions are not grievous, nor that their assault is a light thing. It is a demonic work to torment the afflicted. But your victory lies not in their punishment, but in your own deliverance from the passion of wrath. When the injury presents itself to your mind, do not nurse it. Do not repeat the story of what they said or did, for that is to give the devil an entrance. When the thought arises, say at once, "Lord, forgive them, and give rest to my soul." This is to flee from the sin, even when you cannot flee the place.

Consider that the rest you seek from sleep is a shadow of the true rest in Christ. The distension and headache from a full belly are a small picture of the soul’s sickness from feasting on angry thoughts. The more you feed on the memory of their wrongs, the more oppressed and sleepless your spirit will become. Turn from that table. The world gives a false pleasure that goes no further than the palate and tongue, and then leaves a bitter eructation. But the peace that comes from Christ, the calm that comes from blessing those who curse you, this is a pure stream that cleanses the whole inner man and allows you to lie down in safety, even amidst a roaring camp of enemies. Let your threats against your own sin be vehement, that they may remain only warnings to your soul and never become harsh actions that make you like your oppressors. You are a member of Christ's body; their sin, meant to harm you, is poisoning their own souls. Do not join them in that sickness. Be sobered by your former sufferings and look for your deliverance not in a change of address, but in a change of heart, which no landlord and no foe can ever take from you.

Your suffering is not invisible to the Lord, and it is not insignificant. I am praying for you right now, and I will continue to bring your situation before God. The threats, the assaults, the sleeplessness you are enduring are wicked acts, and they are an offense against the law of God which commands every person to love their neighbor as themselves. Love works no ill to its neighbor. It does not threaten, it does not strike, it does not rob another of peace. Those who do these things are violating the most basic command, and God is not indifferent. He sees, and He will bring every deed into judgment.

You have asked for prayer, and you have it. But let me also encourage you not to repay evil for evil. Do not let their cruelty pull you into hatred or fantasies of retaliation. The Scriptures warn us not to say, "I will do to him as he has done to me." That path consumes the one who walks it. Instead, entrust your cause to the Lord. He is the avenger of the innocent, and He will not let the guilty go unpunished in His time. In the meantime, take whatever wise, lawful steps you still can. If there is any authority that might yet hear you, present your case calmly and clearly. The biblical pattern has always been that disputes and harms should be brought before judges, not settled by private revenge.

I know you feel alone and trapped. You cannot afford to move, and no one nearby seems to help. Yet remember what Jesus taught about who our neighbor is: it is the one who is in need. Right now, you are the one in need. And just as the wounded man on the Jericho road was not forgotten, so you are not forgotten. God can stir the heart of someone to show you mercy, even unexpectedly. He can also provide a way through this valley that you cannot yet see. There is a divine protection that rests on those who walk in His purposes, and nothing can happen to you outside of His sovereign will until your race is finished. Hold fast to that truth in the dark hours.

Use this trial to press closer to Him. When sleep is stolen, let your mind turn to prayer and to the promises of God. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. Pour out your complaint before Him; He can handle it. I will be lifting you up with the whole church, asking God to shield you from harm, to grant you deep rest, to frustrate the plans of those who assault you, and to open a door of deliverance. Your life is precious to Him. Do not lose heart.
