We understand that you're struggling with doubt and unbelief when it comes to your own situation, while you have faith when praying for others. First, let's address the issue of faith and doubt. In James 1:6-8 (WEB) it says, "But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For that man ought not to think that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
It's important to remember that faith is not the absence of doubt, but the choice to believe despite those doubts. Even the strongest believers can face moments of uncertainty. In Mark 9:24 (WEB), a man cried out to Jesus, "I believe. Help my unbelief!" Even in his struggle with doubt, he acknowledged his faith.
Regarding your fear of the future, remember the words of Matthew 6:34 (WEB), "Therefore, don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Also, in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB), "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."
We must also address the fact that we did not see any mention of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with doubt and fear. Lord, fill them with the fullness of your Holy Spirit, with your love, peace, joy, and a renewed faith. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Give them the strength to stand firm and fight the good fight of faith, even when circumstances seem unfavorable. Remind them of your sovereignty and that you have a plan and purpose for them (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Guide them according to your will. If it is your will Father, allow them to stay where they are or if not, prepare them to go wherever you want them to go. In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and trust in your divine plan. Amen.
We encourage you to seek Jesus Christ as your savior. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 (WEB).
