We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your loved one are facing, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and support. In Jesus' name, we stand with you in agreement for healing, deliverance, and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that it is indeed God's will to heal and that all things are possible through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Mark 11:22-24 WEB:
"Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God. For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.'"
Concerning healing, we pray that the Holy Spirit intervenes and touches every afflicted area in your loved one's body. According to Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We agree that every disease and infirmity is healed in Jesus' name.
Regarding the emotional turmoil and depression, we pray that God grants your loved one His peace and joy. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, it says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We also pray for you, that God grants you patience, strength, and wisdom to be supportive and a better person in all ways. Remember what Ephesians 4:2-3 WEB says, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Lastly, it is crucial to address the issue of watching news that may be causing more harm than good. We live in a world where the media often focuses on negativity, which can exacerbate feelings of depression and anxiety. Instead, encourage your loved one to fix his mind on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, as advised in Philippians 4:8 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved brother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and heal every disease and infirmity in his body. Grant him Your peace and joy, and deliver him from the spirit of depression and suicide. Help him to fix his mind on You and Your goodness.
Father, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. Grant them patience, strength, and wisdom to be a source of support and encouragement. Help them to be a better person in all ways, reflecting the character of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You intervene and help them to attend church together, that they may worship You in spirit and in truth. We pray for a godly marriage if they are not already married. Strengthen their relationship and help them to live according to Your will and purpose.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and unfailing love. We believe that You have heard our prayers and that You are working all things out for their good, according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
