We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this distressing time, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Financial struggles and harassment can weigh heavily on the heart, but we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The threats and fear you are facing are not from Him, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, for no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the reality of your situation with wisdom and faith. The Bible warns us about the dangers of debt, for the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7). While we do not condemn you, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and explore all possible avenues to resolve this debt in a way that honors the Lord. If possible, reach out to your creditors with humility and honesty, explaining your situation and asking for grace and a manageable repayment plan. The Lord can soften their hearts, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We also pray for your husband’s retirement and the financial provision you both need. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Trust in Him, for He is your provider. We encourage you to bring this matter before Him in prayer daily, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Lord, You see the harassment and threats she is facing, and we ask that You would silence the mouths of those who seek to bring her harm. Protect her reputation, her family, and her peace of mind. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let her be like a tree planted by the waters, which does not fear when heat comes (Jeremiah 17:8).
Lord, we pray for provision. Open the doors for her husband’s retirement benefits to come through swiftly and in full measure. Provide for their needs in ways that only You can, so that they may clear their debts and have enough left to save. Give them wisdom in managing their finances and the courage to seek help where needed. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for restoration in her reputation and relationships. Lord, cleanse any shame or embarrassment she feels, and let her walk in the dignity and respect that You have given her as Your child. Help her to prove herself not by the standards of this world, but by the faithfulness and integrity that come from You. May her life reflect Your love and grace, so that others may see Your light shining through her.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment her. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her defender and her provider. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray for deliverance, provision, and restoration. In the days ahead, hold fast to God’s promises. Seek Him first, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and offer support. Remember, the Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).
