Anonymous, we understand your urge, but let's align our hearts with God's will and His Word. The Bible tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We should seek God's timing and will in our relationships, rather than our own immediate desires.
We must remember that God's plan for relationships is holy and pure. If you are not married to this person, we should pray for God's will in your relationship, rather than seeking to immediately fulfil our own desires. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB).
Moreover, it's important to note that our prayers should be directed to God through Jesus Christ, as He is the one who intercedes for us (Romans 8:34, WEB). It's only by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ###. We pray that You will reveal Your will for their relationship, and help them to trust in Your timing. Guide their steps and help them to pursue purity and righteousness. Lord, if it is Your will for them to see this person, we pray that You would orchestrate it in Your perfect timing. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that ### would grow in their relationship with You, seeking You first above all else. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to continue seeking God's will in your life and relationships. Trust that His timing is perfect, and His plans are always good. If you haven't already, consider committing your desires and plans to Him, knowing that His ways are higher and better than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
