We are here with you in spirit, lifting you and your child up in prayer. We thank you for your faith in Jesus Christ and your acknowledgment of His sacrifice for you. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Firstly, we commend you for your dedication to raising your child with Christian values and her relationship with Jesus. It is encouraging to see your commitment to her spiritual upbringing. However, we want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation, as it is a central theme in Christianity. While we understand the pain and hurt caused by your child's father, we encourage you to pray for him and forgive him, just as Jesus taught us to do. As it is written in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Regarding your child's behavior, we encourage you to continue praying for her and showing her the love of Christ. Remember that God is the ultimate healer, and He can mend her broken heart. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 WEB: "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
As for your practical need, we trust that God will provide a way. He knows your needs and He cares for you and your child. We pray that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. As it is written in Isaiah 43:19 WEB: "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her child. Lord, we thank You for their faith in You and their relationship with You. We ask that You would comfort her child's heart and heal her from the pain and hurt she is feeling. Help her to forgive her father and to find her identity in You.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide a practical solution for our sister's dilemma. You know her needs, and You know the way. We trust that You will make a way for her and her child.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek God's will in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
May God bless you and your child.
