We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this request for favor in your upcoming job interview. It is right to seek God’s wisdom and provision in all areas of life, including our work, for He cares deeply about every detail of our lives. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
First, we must address the way this prayer was offered. While we appreciate the sincerity of your request, we notice that it was not directed to God in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is the mediator between God and humanity.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine favor and wisdom to rest upon this dear one as they prepare for their job interview. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know their need for provision and stability. We ask that You would open the right doors and close the ones that are not aligned with Your will.
