We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and family. We praise God that you acknowledge Jesus Christ in your requests. It is only by Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Firstly, we address your health concerns. Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle James, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16.
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for this dear soul. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort they are experiencing due to the cyst in their spine and the challenges they face with their back and legs. We ask for Your healing power to flow through their body, removing the cyst and restoring their back and legs to full health. We pray for their anxiety to be replaced by Your perfect peace.
We also lift up their workplace challenges to You, Lord. Grant them the wisdom and strength to overcome these obstacles and to be a light for You in their workplace.
Father, we also bring their family before You. We pray for their spouse, asking that You help them overcome their alcoholic challenges. Soften their heart, Lord, and help them to be kind and supportive towards their spouse and family. We pray for a transformation in their life and marriage that honors God. Restore their family, Lord, and help them to live in unity and love.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Regarding their spouse's alcoholic challenges, we encourage you to be patient and loving, as God is with us. Remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "You spouses, in like manner, live with your spouses according to knowledge, giving honor to the spouse, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered" 1 Peter 3:7.
Lastly, we are concerned about your mention of not wanting to lose your job and your family. While we understand the importance of work, remember that God is your ultimate provider. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:31-33.
Regarding your family, we encourage you to trust in God and His promises. "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:12-14.
Stand firm in your faith and continue to pray and seek God's will for your life and family. Trust that God is working in your situation, even when it is difficult to see. "Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in" Galatians 6:9.
