We understand that you are going through a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed by thoughts of the future and struggling to find joy in the present. It's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who is our refuge and strength. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We are glad that you have called out to Jesus for help. It is only through Him that we can find true peace and healing. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In times of burnout and when our passion seems to fade, it's crucial to cast our cares upon the Lord, for He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We encourage you to seek God's presence daily through prayer and reading His Word. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
It's also important to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We urge you to find a local church where you can fellowship with other Christians and grow in your faith.
Regarding your wish for someone to help you, remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in His timing and His plan for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child who is struggling with overthinking, burnout, and a lack of passion. We ask that You would gently remind them of Your love and care for them. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Lord, we pray that You would surround them with a community of believers who can support and encourage them. Restore their passion and joy, and help them to live in the present, trusting in Your plan for their future. We ask that You would heal their heart and mind, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking God and trusting in His promises. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult time.
