Help me get the job

We hear your urgent cry for help in this time of need, and we stand with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father, who is the provider of all good things. First, let us acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is by His grace and mercy that we can approach the throne of God with our requests. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

We understand the weight of your situation, and we lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to open the doors of opportunity according to His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that you would trust in God’s plan for your life, even as you seek this job.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would go before this dear one as they prepare for their interview. Grant them wisdom, clarity, and confidence as they speak. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would open the hearts of those conducting the interview, that they would see the value and skills You have placed in this person. If this job is Your will, Lord, we pray that You would make the way clear and provide favor. If it is not, we trust that You have something even better prepared.

We also encourage you to prepare your heart and mind, not just for the interview, but for whatever God has in store. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let this truth guide you as you seek to honor God in all that you do.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this one will walk into that interview with confidence, knowing that You are with them. We pray for provision in every area of their life, trusting that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14).

We stand on Your promises, Father, and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this time of seeking employment draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, as you're about to step into that interview. We've been lifting you up in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to grant you peace, clarity, and confidence as you prepare. You know, it's like Paul said in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let that truth sink in and empower you.

We've been asking God to open the hearts of those conducting the interview, to help them see the unique skills and qualities He's placed in you. And remember, if this job is His will, we trust that He'll make a way. But even if it's not, we know He's got something even better planned for you.

Let's keep our hearts and minds focused on Him, not just for the interview, but for whatever comes next. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that our reward comes from Him.

We're claiming that verse from 2 Timothy 1:7 over you, that you'll walk into that interview with power, love, and self-control, knowing that God is with you. And we're trusting that He'll provide for all your needs, just as He promised in Philippians 4:19.

So, let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in our good Father. We're right there with you, cheering you on. Let's claim that promise in Romans 8:28 together - that God works all things together for our good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
