We hear your cry for help in this season of seeking employment, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this need before the Lord. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that God knows your needs even before you ask Him, and He is faithful to provide in ways that honor Him and bless you.
We also want to encourage you with Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for your life, and that includes the work He has prepared for you. We pray that He will open the right doors and close those that are not part of His perfect will for you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is seeking employment. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know the plans You have for them. We ask that You would guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, a place where they can use their gifts and talents to glorify You and serve others.
Father, we ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of those who are making decisions about this job. Give them peace and confidence as they wait for Your answer. If this job is not the one You have for them, we pray that You would close that door and open another that is even better, according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we also pray that You would provide for all their needs during this time of waiting. Help them to trust in You and not to be anxious, but to pray and present their requests to You with thanksgiving. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord and His will for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your steps.
We also want to gently remind you that our ultimate security and provision come from the Lord. While a job is important, our relationship with Jesus Christ is of utmost importance. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life. If you have any questions about this, we would be honored to help you understand more about the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
