Prayer Warriors/ Brothers and Sisters,
I would like the help of prayer to help me fight for what’s to come. I feel like I’m about to encounter a storm here at my workplace.
We recently just got bought out by a company which is resulting into a budget cut of employees. Just yesterday our manager of our department was one of the ones they let go. So who do we report too? Well word obviously spreads easy and it has been said that an employee who was once in that position will be taking over.
But let me give you a back story on why I feel the way I do. My job title is an admin assistant which means I am under an admin.
Well she is a person that you can’t read easily. Some days she’s talkative and fun other day she’s quiet and rude. Lately she’s been real good with because yes she used to be real ugly with me until I brought it up to her which I would assume made her realize that’s she was and stopped. Well because of all the changes and because she’s told me numerous of times that her and that individual that once was a manger that will soon be filling in were really close in the department.
Well just yesterday as they let go over 20 employees and with the rumor of that manager coming in, her demeanor has changed.
She’s already has made it clear to me that she has nothing to worry about being jobless with that manager coming over. She has pointed it out that the manger and her held this department great with no help. Which in my head is telling me she doesn’t need me meaning if they let more go which they are it’ll be me before her because her and that manger are real close and that manger and HR are also close.
Another thing about her is that she is very prideful. She likes to make herself known by bring you down. How she does that.. well she will call out on your mistakes and make sure everyone can know how “stupid” in her words you are.
Earlier this morning she chuckled on the phone with the future manager calling him boss man on her personal phone so already she feels untouchable.
Usually she takes early lunches or extended lunches because she can and no one is going to tell her anything well now she’s at her desk working hard.
So what I’m trying to get to on why I’m asking for prayer is to help me fight whatever she has planned for me to where it’s a fight of it’s me and not her to be let go.
We both have families and need an income but unlike me who wouldn’t treat people like that she will and I’m trying my hardest to have the faith to fight it but just need a lot more help because she is one that in her mind she is better.
