We rejoice with you over your weight loss progress and pray for continued discipline and strength as you pursue health. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Your father’s transition to a new home is a significant change, and we ask the Lord to comfort and settle him. We pray specifically for his mind—*that the God of hope would fill him with all joy and peace in believing, that he may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit* (Romans 15:13). May obsessive thoughts and behaviors be replaced with the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for wisdom for you as you support him, that you would lean on God’s strength rather than your own.
For your beloved cat, we ask the Lord for healing and relief. Every creature is under His care, and we trust Him to provide comfort and restoration. *"Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this opportunity before our sister and ask that You would go before her in this interview. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her recall, clarity, and a spirit of generosity toward those she will serve. Let her words be seasoned with grace, and may her demeanor reflect Your love. We pray for favor with the interviewers, that they would see her as the perfect fit for this role.
Lord, we lift up her health journey to You. Strengthen her body, renew her mind, and help her to steward this temple well. For her father, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. Heal any cognitive struggles and break the power of compulsive behaviors. Surround him with Your presence as he adjusts to this new season.
We also bring her cat before You, asking for healing and comfort. Remind her through this small petition that You care about every part of her life.
Most of all, Father, we pray that she would walk in the confidence of Your love and provision today.
