We hear your cry for help and lift up this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or the one you are praying for have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us come together in prayer for provision and healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who provides. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for meaningful and sustaining work. Your Word says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust in Your provision, Lord, and ask that You guide each step toward the work You have prepared.
Father, we also lift up the one who is sick. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch. Your Word declares, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this healing in the name of Jesus. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and restore them to full health. If there is any sin that has opened the door to this sickness, we pray for conviction, repentance, and Your forgiveness, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be a comfort and a shield.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be practical ways others can assist during this time. Do not hesitate to ask for help, for "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
Continue to stand on God’s promises, for He is faithful. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
