Help! ..😭..😭I really prayed and cried a lot..

Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you and give all the glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the great improvement He has already worked in your life, and we thank Him for hearing your prayers and your tears. God sees your heart and your desire to be holy before Him, and we praise Him that you are seeking lasting and true deliverance and not just temporary relief.

The struggle you describe with pornography, masturbation, flirting and other sexual sins is one that many face, but the Word of God is clear that these are sins of fornication and impurity that must be put away. The body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and we are called to glorify God in our bodies. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. And again, For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Flirting with the opposite sex outside of godly courtship toward marriage opens the door to lust, and Jesus taught that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. We gently rebuke these sins because God loves you and desires your freedom, not to condemn you but to cleanse you and make you whole.

We are encouraged that you have cried out to Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Your faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of your deliverance, and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

For lasting victory we must be renewed in our minds and walk by the Spirit. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. This renewal comes as we hide His Word in our hearts, as it is written How can a young man keep his way pure, By living according to your word Psalm 119:9, and Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against you Psalm 119:11. We must also make no provision for the flesh and take every thought captive, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5, and Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desire of the flesh Galatians 5:16. God is faithful and No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. That way of escape is often to flee, to turn off, to walk away, to seek accountability with a mature believing brother, and to fill your time with prayer and the Word.

We join our faith with yours now and pray together in Jesus name.

Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for the work You have already done in our dear brother, for the improvement and the conviction and the desire for holiness. We ask for Your mercy and Your deliverance to be made complete. Renew his mind, Lord, wash him with Your Word, make him very wise to discern the schemes of the enemy and to flee from every appearance of evil. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Give him understanding, speak to his heart, and show him whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from his life and heart. Help him to do whatever is necessary, to cut off every source of temptation, to guard his eyes and his heart, and to walk in purity for Your glory. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk by the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Grant him strength in the moment of temptation to choose the way of escape. Let his life be a testimony of Your sanctifying power and let all the glory be Yours. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, in daily reading of Scripture, in fasting when able, and in honest fellowship with a trusted Christian brother who can hold you accountable. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, pure and worthy of praise Philippians 4:8. God who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it as you submit to Him and resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7. Keep crying out to Him, keep trusting in Jesus, and He will keep you far from these sins for His glory.

We were so glad to read your note and to hear how much has already changed. Thank you for sharing so honestly with us. We join you in giving thanks to Jesus for the improvement you are seeing, and we hear your longing for that work to go deeper and to last.

What you describe is familiar to many believers. The desire to be free is real and sincere, and the growth itself often comes as a steady process rather than a single moment. There can be mountaintop days and then ordinary days where old thoughts return, and that does not mean God has left you or that nothing is happening. Fruit grows over time as we keep walking with Him.

One step that has helped many who want lasting purity is not walking alone. If you do not already have this, we encourage you to invite one steady, mature believer you trust, a pastor or a counselor experienced in this area, to walk with you regularly for honest accountability and prayer. A small support group with the same commitment can also be a real help in renewing the mind day by day.

We are praying with you for continued mercy, wisdom, and strength to turn away and keep turning toward Christ.

Father, we thank You for the work You have already done in our friend's life and heart. We ask You to continue to renew their mind, to give clear understanding and wisdom for each choice, and to guard them in purity for Your glory. Draw them close when temptation comes, remind them they are Yours, and lead them step by step. In Jesus' name, amen.

We give thanks with you and join you in giving all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for the improvement He has already wrought in you. It is the Lord who has kept back your soul from the pit, and every step away from those former snares of pornography, impurity and flirting is a mercy from His hand. That you mourn what remains and cry after holiness is itself an evidence of His grace at work in your heart.

You have prayed and wept much, and you ask that these sins might be removed forever from your life and heart. Be assured that the Lord hears such cries. There is a word that meets your case, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has both invented the way and found the ransom in the precious blood of His own Son. The prisoner ready to be executed finds undeserved deliverance because the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. In Christ there is forgiveness for the guilt of sin and there is also power for deliverance from its dominion.

Know this, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. If ever a man is delivered from spiritual bondage of heart, it is solely by divine power. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. Therefore in order to your sanctification and your deliverance from the power of darkness, you must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone. He who brought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand is the same Jehovah who loosens the captive today.

Your affliction and your struggle, though painful, may be viewed as the chastening of a Father's hand. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What you receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable, to wean you from loving the world and the things thereof.

So we will pray with you, and we exhort you to join faith with practice. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights. Ask Him for wisdom, for He gives liberally. Cry to God daily to preserve you from evil and to renew your mind, that you may be made wise to hate sin and to love holiness. Keep yourself unspotted from the world. When you find that which would draw you toward impurity, whether it be a screen, a conversation, a place or company that is rather loose or fast, turn away from it and flee, for you do not need to be muddied. The only hope of eternal life is by being parted from sin, and we must from day to day fight against it till it is utterly put away.

Let us pray together that God will be gracious unto you and give commandment to save you and keep you, that He will show you mercy, speak to you, give you understanding and true deliverance, that He will renew your mind and make you very wise in Christ, so that these sins will be far from you henceforth. May He deliver you not only from conspicuous sins but from the fascinating power of darkness itself, and cause you to live and declare the works of the Lord. May He keep you by His power, establish you in purity, and make your life a testimony that Christ makes His people free indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We rejoice with you and give all glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the improvement He has already worked in you, and for the honesty of your tears and prayers. To desire to be free from these sins and to cry out for mercy is itself a sign of God's grace at work in your heart.

You ask for lasting and true deliverance, for a renewed mind and for wisdom to keep these sins far from you forever. Scripture calls this renewal, to be made new in the spirit of your mind. It is not that God makes a different person, but that the same person is renewed and changed, the old deeds put off and the new life put on. The Spirit does not endure old deeds, and when He dwells in the mind He teaches it to hate what it once loved and to love purity, continence and temperance.

Do not be discouraged that the struggle continues. Virtue is learned step by step, as children learn letters. First one form, then another, then to join them together and write them upon the soul. So set yourself with God's help to a steady order. Learn first to turn away from the sources that feed lust, then to guard the heart itself. Pornography, masturbation and flirting are not small things, they are the fuel of lust. As filthy talk and jesting carry anger and lust into the soul, so looking, imagining and flirting carry uncleanness into the heart. If you cut off the vehicle, the passion itself is weakened. Flee from every occasion, make no provision for the flesh, keep your eyes, your phone and your conversations under discipline, and fill the mind with what is pure.

God has shown His mercy to many who came from such sins and were purified and converted and entered into His kingdom, not as they were, but as washed and made new. He can do the same for you, and He delights in a humble and contrite heart that trembles at His word.

Let us pray together for you in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we thank You for the work You have begun in Your child who cries out to You. Have mercy and grant true and lasting deliverance. Renew the spirit of the mind, grant understanding and wisdom, and teach the heart to despise sin and to love purity. Give strength to do whatever it takes to remove these sins from life and heart, to walk in faith, in charity and in purity, and to live as an example of a changed life. Guard from pride and keep in humility, for You give grace to the humble. Keep this soul close to Christ, who alone saves, and make the progress firm until the day of Christ. Amen.

Continue to pray, to stay in the word, to walk in the light with other believers, and to confess quickly when you stumble. God is faithful, and He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it as you continue to seek Him with your whole heart.
