Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you and give all the glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the great improvement He has already worked in your life, for He is faithful and merciful to hear the cries of those who seek Him with a broken and contrite heart. We have heard your weeping and your earnest prayer, and we stand with you now to ask for lasting and true deliverance and complete freedom for the glory of God.

We know that these struggles with pornography, masturbation, flirting and sexual sin are not small matters before God, for they flow from lust of the heart and defile both body and spirit. The Scripture is clear and loving in its warning, Everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28, and Flee sexual immorality Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. We are called to remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are His 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Flirting with the opposite sex outside of a purposeful courtship with a fellow believer with marriage in view does not honor God, but stirs up desires that God intends only for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.

Yet we also cling to the promises of God for you. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We praise God that you have confessed and turned to Jesus, and He has begun a good work in you, and we are confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. There is no temptation that has taken you except what is common to man, and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We encourage you to continue to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever, just as Jesus taught, If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you Matthew 5:29. For you this means radically guarding your eyes and heart, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5, renewing your mind daily in the Word, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2, and walking by the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16. We urge you to seek wise and godly accountability with a mature believing man, to put clear boundaries and filters in place, to flee from places and media that tempt you, and to fill your heart and time with prayer, Scripture, and service to God, for an idle mind is vulnerable. Ask God for wisdom, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we thank You for the mercy You have already shown to our brother, for the tears You have seen and the prayers You have heard, and for the improvement You have granted. We ask You now to complete this deliverance and make it lasting and true for Your glory. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him Psalm 51:10. Renew his mind, make him very wise with Your wisdom from above, and help him to do whatever it takes to put these sins far from his life and heart forever. Show him Your mercy, speak to him clearly, give him understanding and deep deliverance by the power of the Holy Spirit. Teach him to take every thought captive, to flee all sexual immorality, and to walk in purity and self control. Guard his eyes, guard his heart, surround him with godly counsel and strength, and lead him not into temptation but deliver him from evil. Let his life be a testimony of Your transforming power and grace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our righteousness and our way to You, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast, to keep crying out to the Lord, to daily feed on Scripture and to trust that God who heard your first cry will be faithful to keep you and establish you in holiness until the end.

We thank you for sharing so honestly with us, and we rejoice with you over the improvement you have seen. Giving glory to the Lord Jesus for that is right, and we join you in thanking Him. We also hear how much you have prayed and wept for lasting freedom, and how deeply you want your heart and mind renewed.

Wanting these sins far from you for good is a good and holy desire. In our experience, lasting change grows not only from private resolve but from walking openly with others. Trying harder alone often leaves a person divided inside, wanting freedom yet still holding on. Bringing the struggle into the light with steady, trusted accountability helps keep thoughts and fantasies disciplined and gives space for God to heal deeper hurts that sexual behavior has been covering.

One practical next step you could consider is identifying one or two mature believers, a pastor or a Christian counselor, or a small support group where you can be consistently honest, not only in moments of temptation. Meeting regularly for encouragement and prayer creates structure for surrender to Christ to become daily.

We are praying for you.

Father, thank You for the work You have already done in our brother's life. Have mercy and continue to renew his mind, grant him wisdom and deliverance, and guide him to the people and steps that will help him walk in purity for Your glory. Keep him near to Jesus day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God with you for the mercy already shown, and we give all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for every step of improvement in your soul. It is the Lord who has brought you thus far, and it is He alone who must bring you forth into complete deliverance, for deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

Your prayer is right and good, to ask that these sins may be forever removed from your life and heart, and that your mind may be renewed. Scripture teaches us that lust, when it has conceived, brings forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death. Any sin, whatever it is, if we cling to it and love it, will bring forth death. Therefore purity is not optional for the child of God. Charity and purity are the two great garments of Christianity, and without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Yet we are not left to fight this battle in our own strength. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification.

Take comfort that God has found a ransom. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and when God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom, then is the deliverance certain. You have been made partaker of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, and He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it.

We join our prayers to yours before the throne of grace.

O Lord our God, we bless Thee for what Thou hast already done in this soul, and we ask Thee to perfect Thy work. Show mercy, speak to this heart, give understanding and true deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ. Renew the mind, make wise unto holiness, and keep far from all impurity. Let the power of the blood and the power of the Spirit so work that these sins shall be forever forsaken and abhorred. Teach the feet to flee from temptation, the eyes to look unto Jesus, and the heart to find its delight in Thee. Grant lasting and true sanctification, that the life may be kept pure as befits one who would walk in the way of holiness, where Thou hast ordained that intimacy belongs only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We ask not for the blessing of sin, but for cleansing from it, and for strength to walk uprightly for Thy glory. Amen.

Be of good courage, and continue to look steadily to Christ for all things. Worldlings do not understand, but to us He is alive, our familiar Friend. When a child of God in deep distress believes in his Father and steadily looks to Him for deliverance, those eyes have mighty power with Him. Abide in the Word, keep watch over your heart, flee from every occasion to sin, and pray without ceasing. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but you shall live and declare the works of the Lord. Let your deliverance be attended with gratitude, and let your life henceforth show that He has indeed delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son.

We give thanks with you for the improvement the Lord has already worked in your life, and we give all glory to Jesus Christ for it. To turn from pornography, masturbation, flirting and other sexual sins is not a small thing. It shows that God has heard your prayers and tears and has begun a good work of purification and renewal in you.

Scripture shows that those who once lived in sexual sin entered the kingdom not as they were, but having obeyed and believed and having been purified and converted. That same mercy is yours in Christ. God does not leave you as you were, He makes men who were bound by lust to live as angels, pure and wholehearted for Him. This is His desire for you, lasting and true holiness for the glory of God.

Continue to seek Him with the same earnestness with which you have prayed and cried. God looks to the one who is humble and quiet and trembles at His word, not to the proud heart. Come to Him in humility, confessing your need each day, and He will give you mercy, understanding and deliverance.

Be encouraged to walk step by step, as a child learns letters. First learn one form of virtue, then another, and write them upon your soul. Learn not to speak evil or to swear, then not to envy or to lust, not to be gluttonous or idle, and then practice the things of the Spirit, continence, temperance, righteousness, gentleness and a contrite mind, joining one virtue to another. In this way purity grows strong and steady.

Guard also the pathways of lust. Filthy talk and crude joking carry lust into the heart, just as shouting carries anger. Turn away from pornography and from flirting with the opposite sex, turn away from images, conversations and places that stir desire, and be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Make yourself a living pattern of a Christian life.

God does not only promise to take temptation away for a moment, He teaches the soul to despise sin and to stand above it. He will renew your mind and make you wise, so that these sins will be far from you, not by your strength alone but by His grace working in you.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You for the mercy You have already shown and for the great improvement You have given. We ask You to complete this work. Wash this heart fully, remove these sins forever, renew the mind, and grant wisdom and strength to walk in purity. Show mercy, speak clearly, give understanding and full deliverance, so that this life may be kept clean and steadfast for Your glory. Teach a hatred for sin and a love for holiness, and keep this soul close to You all the days of his life. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Keep praying, keep watching, and keep trusting Christ. He who began this work is faithful to finish it.

Your honesty and your tears before the Lord are precious, and it is right to give all the glory and thanks to Jesus Christ for the improvement you have seen. That progress is His work and His mercy, and it is a testimony that He is able to deliver and to change a life.

There is still a battle, and Scripture is honest about where that battle lives. James says that conflicts and struggles come from the desires that war within us, from our own lust pulling at us. John explains that all that is in the world comes down to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, and that this is not from the Father but from the world. Friendship with the world is enmity with God, and the world with its lust is passing away. When we see temptation in that light, we understand why it cannot satisfy and why it must be turned from completely.

Pornography and sexual fantasy have a particular power to take hold of a person. Many have found it to be like a drug that enslaves the mind, inflaming passion and then driving a person toward further sexual sin, flirting and impurity that God never intended outside the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. What begins as a look or a thought in the heart, if it is not cut off, entices and then brings forth sin. That is why the Lord warns not to lust after beauty in the heart, not to burn with desire for what is not yours to embrace. The enemy uses beauty and images to trap, but there is no real love there, only lust that destroys families and relationships and leaves a person bound.

The purpose of prayer is not to get God to serve our desires so we can spend them on ourselves, but to bring our will into alignment with His. God has given us exceedingly great and precious promises so that through them we may partake of His divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust. Lasting freedom comes as the mind is renewed and washed by the Word of God. What we sow we will also reap, so we must be careful what we allow through our eyes and into our thoughts, and instead sow to the Spirit.

I join you in prayer that the Lord will show you mercy and grant you full and lasting deliverance. May He renew your mind and make you wise to recognize and flee temptation, to turn your eyes away and to guard your heart. May He cleanse your thoughts by His Word, strengthen you by His Spirit, and teach you to walk in purity and holiness even as Christ is pure. May He help you do whatever is necessary to remove every source of temptation and to fill your heart with what is good, so that these sins will be put far from you and you will live for His glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, may you know His forgiveness, His power to keep you, and His peace as you continue to seek Him with your whole heart.
