Help! ..😭..😭I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and your desire to walk in purity before God are evidence of His grace at work in you. The fact that you are turning to Jesus Christ in this battle is the most important step of all, for He alone has the power to break every chain of sin and renew your mind. We stand with you in prayer, believing that the same God who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you mention, pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting, are not just personal failures but sins that grieve the heart of God. They distort His design for sexuality, which is meant to be expressed solely within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins also open doors to spiritual oppression, as they invite impurity into the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). But take heart: the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any sin, and His grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore you completely.

First, we must address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper issues like loneliness, idolatry, or a misplaced search for fulfillment. The enemy would love for you to believe that these sins are "just a part of who you are" or that you cannot overcome them, but that is a lie. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and He has already won the victory on the cross. Your part is to walk in that victory by submitting to God, resisting the devil, and drawing near to Him (James 4:7-8). This means not only fleeing from temptation but also filling your mind and heart with the things of God.

We must also speak plainly about the dangers of flirting outside of a godly courtship leading to marriage. Flirting can easily become a form of emotional or physical infidelity, even if it does not lead to a physical relationship. Jesus warned that even looking at someone with lust is equivalent to committing adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). If you are not currently pursuing marriage with a godly spouse, we encourage you to guard your heart and your eyes, setting boundaries that honor God. If you are seeking a spouse, do so with purity, wisdom, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, always keeping marriage as the goal.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name, the Name by which we are saved and set free. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. You have heard his cries, and You have begun a good work in him. We ask now that You complete it, Father. Break every chain of pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting that has bound him. We rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity in Jesus’ name, and we command it to leave and never return.

Lord, we ask that You renew his mind daily through Your Word. Let the truth of Scripture wash over him, replacing every lie of the enemy with Your promises. Give him wisdom to recognize temptation before it takes hold and the strength to flee from it. Father, we pray that You would fill every empty place in his heart with Your love, Your peace, and Your presence. Where there has been loneliness, let him find fulfillment in You. Where there has been idolatry, let him worship You alone.

We ask that You would also guide him in his relationships. If it is Your will for him to marry, prepare a godly spouse for him, someone who loves You above all else and who will walk with him in purity and holiness. Until that time, Lord, help him to guard his heart and his eyes, setting boundaries that honor You. Let him not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2).

Father, we also ask that You would pour out Your mercy upon him. Speak to him in the quiet moments, in Your Word, and through the counsel of godly believers. Give him understanding of Your ways and the courage to walk in them. We declare that he is not a slave to sin but a son of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Let him walk in the freedom that is his in Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You to complete the work You have started, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, brother, we encourage you to take practical steps to walk in this freedom. Here are a few biblical strategies to help you:

1. Accountability: Find a trusted, godly brother in Christ who can walk with you in this journey. Confess your struggles to him and allow him to pray with you and hold you accountable (James 5:16). The enemy thrives in secrecy, but light exposes darkness.

2. Flee Temptation: Do not entertain temptation. If you find yourself struggling with pornography, install filters on your devices, avoid triggering websites, and even consider using a device that limits your access to the internet. If flirting is a struggle, set clear boundaries in your interactions with the opposite sex and avoid situations where temptation may arise. Remember, Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife when she tried to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). Sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is run.

3. Renew Your Mind: Fill your mind with Scripture. Memorize verses that speak to your struggle, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13, Psalm 51:10, and Romans 6:12-14. Meditate on God’s Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). The more you fill your mind with truth, the less room there will be for lies.

4. Worship and Prayer: Spend time in worship and prayer daily. Worship shifts your focus from yourself to God, reminding you of His greatness and your identity in Him. Prayer is your lifeline to the Father, and it is where you will find strength for the battle.

5. Serve Others: Often, sexual sin is rooted in selfishness, a focus on our own desires and needs. Combat this by serving others. Volunteer at your church, help a neighbor, or find ways to bless those around you. When you take your eyes off yourself, you will find that the enemy’s temptations lose their power.

6. Repent and Receive Forgiveness: If you stumble, do not wallow in guilt or shame. Confess your sin to God, receive His forgiveness, and get back up (1 John 1:9). Shame is a tool of the enemy to keep you in bondage, but God’s grace is greater than your sin. Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

7. Seek Professional Help if Needed: If these struggles feel overwhelming or if you find yourself unable to break free despite your best efforts, do not hesitate to seek help from a Christian counselor or a ministry that specializes in sexual purity. There is no shame in asking for help, and God often uses others to bring healing and freedom.

Finally, remember that your identity is not defined by your struggles but by who you are in Christ. You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), redeemed, forgiven, and set apart for God’s purposes. The enemy will try to remind you of your past, but God is calling you to walk in the freedom of your future. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you. Walk in that truth, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

May God deliver you from porn addiction. Help you live pure. Ve chaste. Walk with God. Walk with the Lord your God. Dont be afraid to walk with him. Only dont Disney God. Eschew evil. Pray and worship daily. Love the Lord your God. He will keep you from the sin of witchcraft. He will help you break free of addiction. Only walk with the Lord daily praying and giving worship to God abstaining and resisting urges. Download also porn blocker apps on your phone and lock yourself out of them. Turn them on then lock them. Thank you God for giving me food to eat which has power to curb appetites for flesh and promote good moods such is the raw food items. But thank you also for the cooked food items which provide my body with necessary B vitemin support and protein support.

We hear the deep cry in your words, the mix of real gratitude for the ground you’ve gained and the ache for a freedom that feels just out of reach. What you’re experiencing is not unusual. Many who have walked this road find that genuine change comes in layers, and the longing you express is itself evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work, not that you’re failing.

When we’ve prayed and wept and still feel stuck, it’s often because a part of us wants to be free while another part still reaches for the false comfort these habits once gave. That double-mindedness doesn’t disqualify you from God’s mercy; it just means surrender isn’t a single moment. It’s a daily, sometimes hourly, turning toward Him. And it often involves inviting other trustworthy believers into the battle.

The most practical step that matches your ā€œwhatever it takesā€ is to seek out a mature, same-gender brother in Christ, someone you can be completely honest with, preferably someone who understands this struggle without flinching. An accountability partner, a confidential support group, or even a Christian counselor can help you interrupt the cycle and rewire those patterns in a way that prayer alone sometimes cannot. Many have discovered that isolation is the soil where these sins grow best; bringing them into the light is a powerful act of faith.

You are not a problem to be solved but a person Christ loves deeply. He sees every tear you’ve cried. As you continue to cooperate with His Spirit, we pray alongside you.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the real progress this brother has already seen, it is Your work, and we give You glory. In the places where he still feels trapped, pour out fresh mercy and clear-headed wisdom. Show him whatever practical steps he needs to take, and provide the right people to walk with him. Renew his mind day by day, untangle the double-mindedness, and anchor his heart in Your love, so that these sins no longer hold any sway. Grant him steady, lasting freedom for Your glory alone. Amen.

You have been crying out, and the Lord has not turned away. That is the first thing to set firmly in your heart. I know how it goes: a season of glad progress, then a sudden stumble or a memory that rushes back, and in the quiet afterward a dark whisper slips in, ā€œHe has forsaken you. You will never be clean.ā€ That whisper does not come from your Shepherd. It is an old, foul arrow from the pit, and it has been shot at every tender-hearted pilgrim who ever longed for holiness. You are not the first to feel it hiss past your ear, and you will not be the last. But it is a lie. The desire you feel, the tears you have shed, the ache for lasting purity, these are not the tokens of a soul abandoned. They are the breath of the Spirit moving over the face of your deep waters.

You speak of improvement, and you rightly give glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for it. Do not despise the day of small things. A man shut in a dark dungeon does not scorn the first crack of light under the door. He fixes his eye on it and thanks God. Your breakthrough, incomplete as it feels to you, is real. Christ has put His hand on yours. The bow is in your grip, the arrow is on the string, and He is teaching your fingers to pull. The deliverance must come from Him, you know that better than I can tell you, but He delights to use your own feeble hands as He works the rescue. You are not chained in that old prison. The key has turned in the lock; the iron gate groans on its hinge. It may still stand ajar, and the Giant of Despair may still bellow in the distance, but you are on the threshold of liberty. Keep stepping toward the light.

When the old pull returns, and the temptation presents itself with its painted face, do not stand and argue with it. Run straight to the well. You have a well that never runs dry. Jesus Christ is that deep fountain, and every time you plunge into His wounds, your thirst is quenched and your soul revives. You know what I mean: not a formal prayer, but a heart-cry flung toward Him from the gutters of your own weakness, ā€œLord, I have no holiness of my own; be my holiness. I have no strength to resist; be my strength. I can bring nothing but this ragged thing that calls itself ā€˜me’ and lay it at Thy feet.ā€ He has never yet turned away a soul that came with empty hands and a full confession.

And here is something I want you to hold tight, God brings His people forth with silver and gold. When Israel left Egypt, they did not slink out as beggars. They carried the treasures of the land with them. So it shall be with you. The very battle you are fighting, the long campaign against this entrenched sin, will enrich you. You are learning watchfulness. You are learning what it costs to cling to Christ. You are learning the preciousness of a clear conscience. These are riches you cannot get in the easy valleys; they are mined in the steep places where you are climbing. One day you will look back and say, ā€œHe brought me forth also with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble word of His promise that failed.ā€

To be pure and unspotted from the world is good, it is essential, but do not forget that purity is a fruit that grows on the tree of faith. It is not the root. Your root is Christ Himself, grafted into you by a grace you did not earn. Keep short accounts with Him. Confess swiftly. Trust boldly. And when the hound of unbelief starts baying at your heels, for unbelief is no tame dog, it is a hound of hell, do not give it a tongue. Do not say, ā€œI shall never be delivered.ā€ That is not your voice; that is the voice of the destroyer. Say rather with a holy defiance, ā€œI shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.ā€ Write that on the wall of your heart.

The Lord who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion. He does not dig a well only to fill it in with the first shovel of dirt. He does not pour out the blood of His Son for half a pardon. You are not going down to the pit. You are going up to the city. And every step, however faltering, is guarded by Him who has delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son.

Let us pray.

O Lord Jesus, Thou who art the brightness of the Father’s glory and the express image of His person, look upon this dear one who cleaves to Thee with trembling hands. Thou hast seen the tears and heard the groaning. Thou knowest the hidden conflict and the secret wound. Come with Thy healing in Thy wings. Renew the mind, make wise the heart, and put such a gulf between the soul and the old sin that it shall never be crossed again. Speak the word of deliverance, and let it ring through the whole being. Be Thou the purity, the wisdom, and the peace. And when the enemy comes in like a flood, lift up a standard against him. We thank Thee that Thou art able to keep from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of Thy glory with exceeding joy. Hold this one fast, we pray, and bring the travail of the soul to a joyful harvest, for Thine own name’s sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
