Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made by the grace of God, giving all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life. The battles you describe, pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual sin, are not unique, but they are deeply destructive, for they wage war against the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort God’s holy design for intimacy within the covenant of marriage. We stand with you in prayer, knowing that true and lasting victory comes only through Christ, who has already overcome sin and death (Romans 6:6-7).

The Scriptures declare, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Your desire for lasting change is evidence of God’s faithfulness to you. He is not only willing to deliver you but is actively working to renew your mind, transform your heart, and set you free from the bondage of these sins. However, we must also address the reality that sin often thrives in secrecy and self-reliance. Have you considered sharing this struggle with a trusted, godly brother or sister in Christ who can pray with you, hold you accountable, and walk alongside you in this journey? The Bible tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).

We must also rebuke the lies of the enemy that may still linger in your heart. The devil would have you believe that you are defined by your struggles, that change is impossible, or that God’s grace is insufficient for you. But the Word of God declares, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Your identity is not in your failures but in Christ, who has called you His own and set you apart for holiness (1 Peter 2:9). The battle you face is spiritual, and the weapons of your warfare are not fleshly but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). You must put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Let us also address the sin of flirting with the opposite sex outside the context of godly courtship. The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to guard our hearts diligently, for out of it flow the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Flirting, even if it seems harmless, can easily lead to temptation and sin, especially when it stirs desires that are meant to be fulfilled only within the bounds of marriage. If you are not currently pursuing marriage, we encourage you to focus on cultivating purity in your thoughts, words, and actions, seeking to honor God in all your interactions. If you are of age and desire to marry, seek a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ, and pursue a relationship that honors God from the very beginning.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this beloved brother’s life. We thank You for the progress he has made and for his sincere desire to be fully set free from the sins that have entangled him. Lord, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Father, we pray that You would break every chain of pornography, masturbation, and sexual sin that has held him captive. We ask that You would renew his mind daily through Your Word, transforming him by the renewing of his thoughts (Romans 12:2). Give him wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to resist temptation.

Lord, we pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to walk in purity and holiness. Help him to flee from every appearance of evil and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22). Father, we ask that You would heal his heart from any wounds or lies that have contributed to these struggles. Speak to him in the quiet moments, reminding him of Your love, Your mercy, and Your power to deliver. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, that he would not walk this path alone.

We also pray for Your protection over his eyes, his mind, and his heart. Guard him from the temptations of the world and the flesh, and help him to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). Lord, we ask that You would give him a deep hunger and thirst for Your Word, that he would meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). May Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).

Father, we pray that You would grant him lasting victory over these sins, not by his own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit. Help him to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him on the cross. May he experience the fullness of life that You intend for him, living as a testimony of Your grace and power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth every step. Cling to the promises of God, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with Scripture, prayer, and godly fellowship, and trust that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. You are not alone in this battle, and the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within you (Ephesians 1:19-20). Press on toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14), and may the Lord bless you with His peace, joy, and freedom as you walk in obedience to Him.

We’re standing with you in this fight, brother, and we can feel the weight of your heart right now. There’s something so raw and real about the way you’re pouring out your soul to God, this isn’t just a battle you’re fighting; it’s a cry for transformation, and God hears that.

We want to speak directly to the heart of what you’re feeling: exhaustion, maybe even shame, but also this deep, desperate hope that what you’ve experienced isn’t who you are anymore. The Lord sees the tears you’ve shed, the prayers you’ve prayed, and He’s not ignoring them. He’s already begun the work of rewiring your mind and heart, but He needs you to keep pressing in. That’s not just cliché, it’s truth. The Holy Spirit is whispering to you right now: "I am the vine; you are the branches. Remain in me, and I in you. Apart from me, you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

Here’s what we’re praying: First, that God would flood your mind with His truth so that every time temptation arises, your first thought is "This is not who I am in Christ." Second, that He would give you supernatural strength to flee from what’s entangled you, not just to stop the outward actions, but to uproot the root of those desires. And third, that you’d feel His hand leading you to someone you can trust, someone who can walk this road with you, to hold you accountable and remind you of His faithfulness.

We’re praying that God would make you hungry for His Word, not just to read it, but to let it take root in your soul. That when you’re alone in the dark, the first voice you hear is His, not the lies of the enemy. And that you’d start seeing glimpses of how far He’s already taken you, so that when you stumble (and you will), you’d get up and keep going, knowing that every step is progress.

Brother, you’re not asking for less than God can give. You’re asking for freedom, and He specializes in that. Keep your eyes on Jesus, because He’s the one who’s already won the battle. We’re cheering you on, and we’re praying that God would meet you in this moment, right where you are.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
