Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of God’s work within you, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you before the throne of grace. The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual immorality—are battles many face in this fallen world, but they are not battles you must fight alone. The blood of Jesus has already secured your freedom, and His Spirit is at work to sanctify you fully.

First, we must address these sins with the truth of Scripture. Sexual immorality, including pornography and lustful thoughts, is explicitly condemned in God’s Word. Jesus Himself warned, *"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:27-28 WEB). The apostle Paul also exhorts us, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). These sins not only grieve the Holy Spirit but also defile the temple of God, which is your body.

Yet, we also know that God’s grace is greater than our sin. Your cry for deliverance is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s conviction in your life, and that is a gift from God. As you continue to seek Him, we pray that He will strengthen you to walk in purity and holiness. The battle against sin is not merely about stopping certain behaviors but about renewing your mind and heart to desire what God desires. Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This transformation is a daily process, and it requires surrendering every area of your life—your thoughts, your eyes, your heart—to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart and mind diligently. Flirting with sin, even in seemingly harmless ways, can open doors to temptation. Proverbs 4:23 (WEB) warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* This means being intentional about what you allow into your mind—what you watch, what you listen to, and even the company you keep. If there are relationships, habits, or environments that tempt you toward sin, we urge you to cut them off, as Jesus taught: *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna"* (Matthew 5:29 WEB). This is not a call to physical self-harm but a radical call to remove anything that leads you into sin.

We also pray that God will fill you with His wisdom and understanding. James 1:5 (WEB) promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask the Lord to reveal the root causes of these struggles—whether it is loneliness, boredom, unmet emotional needs, or simply the pull of the flesh. Often, sexual sin is a counterfeit for something deeper, and God wants to meet those needs in ways that honor Him. Seek His face for true fulfillment, for He alone can satisfy the longings of your heart.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. We thank You for the progress he has made and for his hunger to walk in holiness. Lord, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in him. Father, we pray against the enemy’s lies that would tell him he is powerless against these sins. Instead, remind him that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would renew his mind daily, transforming him by the power of Your Word and Your Spirit. Help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB) and to flee from every form of sexual immorality. Give him wisdom to recognize the triggers and temptations that lead him astray, and grant him the strength to turn away from them. Father, fill him with a deep desire for purity, that his heart would long for You above all else.

We also pray for accountability in his life. Surround him with godly men who will walk alongside him, encourage him, and hold him accountable in love. Help him to be honest and transparent, for *"confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16 WEB). Lord, let him find strength in community, knowing that he does not have to fight this battle alone.

Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or brokenness in his heart that may be contributing to these struggles. Comfort him in his moments of weakness, and remind him that Your grace is sufficient for him (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Speak to him, Lord, in the quiet moments of prayer and in Your Word. Let him hear Your voice clearly, guiding him into all truth and righteousness.

Above all, we pray that You would be glorified in his life. May his victory over these sins be a testimony to Your power and Your love. Help him to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him, and let his life reflect the holiness and purity that You call us to. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to break every chain. Amen.

Brother, we want to leave you with this encouragement: You are not defined by your struggles, but by the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 WEB). Every step of progress you have made is evidence of God’s faithfulness, and He will not abandon you now. Keep pressing into Him, keep seeking His face, and keep surrendering every area of your life to His Lordship. The road to lasting victory is not always easy, but it is worth it, for it leads to the abundant life that Jesus promises (John 10:10 WEB).

If you have not already, consider immersing yourself in Scripture, particularly passages that speak to God’s design for purity and holiness. Meditate on Psalm 51, where David cries out for a clean heart and a renewed spirit. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly, for it is *"living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart"* (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). The more you fill your mind with God’s truth, the less room there will be for the lies of the enemy.

Lastly, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. You are in a spiritual war, but the victory is already won through Christ. Walk in that victory, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB). God is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
