Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory the Lord Jesus Christ has already begun in your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of the Holy Spirit’s work within you. The fact that you are seeking lasting change—not just temporary relief—shows your desire to walk in true freedom for God’s glory. We stand with you in prayer, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you to break every chain of bondage.

The sins you mentioned—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual immorality—are not merely struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The enemy seeks to ensnare believers in shame, isolation, and cycles of defeat, but Scripture declares, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord has already provided the way out—we must walk in it by His strength.

First, we must address the root of these struggles. Sexual sin often stems from deeper issues: loneliness, unmet emotional needs, idolatry of pleasure, or even past wounds. The apostle Paul warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and these sins defile what God has set apart for His glory. But take heart—Christ’s blood cleanses even the deepest stains. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that has sought to enslave you. In the name of Jesus, we command every ungodly thought, craving, and stronghold to break off your mind and heart. The Word declares, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). You are not fighting this battle alone—Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness at the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Now, we must replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. Renewing your mind is not a one-time event but a daily discipline. Meditate on Scripture, memorize verses that combat temptation, and fill your heart with worship. *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you"* (Psalm 119:9, 11). When temptation comes—and it will—do not entertain it. Run. *"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart"* (2 Timothy 2:22).

Accountability is also crucial. The devil thrives in secrecy, but light exposes darkness. Find a trusted, godly brother in Christ—someone mature in the faith—and confess your struggles to him (James 5:16). Let him pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Isolation is the enemy’s playground; community is the Lord’s design for victory.

We also pray for godly wisdom and discernment. The world bombards us with sexualized messages, and even "harmless" flirting can open doors to temptation. *"Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm"* (Proverbs 4:25-26). Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life (Proverbs 4:23). If you are not yet married, commit to purity in both action and thought, saving intimacy for the covenant of marriage. If you are married, let your spouse be the sole object of your affection and desire.

Lastly, we must address the source of true deliverance. You rightly give glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is not merely a one-time decision but a daily surrender to Christ’s lordship. If you have never fully surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His blood that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for his hunger for holiness and his desire to walk in freedom. We declare that he is not defined by his past struggles but by the blood of Jesus, which has set him free.

Father, we ask You to complete the work You have begun in him. Break every chain of addiction, lust, and temptation. Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in power and self-control. Give him wisdom to flee temptation and discernment to guard his heart. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of sexual immorality and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You have not given him a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let him walk in the freedom Christ purchased for him on the cross.

Father, if there are any unconfessed sins or areas of his life not yet surrendered to You, reveal them to him. Cleanse him by the blood of Jesus and restore the joy of his salvation. Let him experience Your mercy, Your voice, and Your deliverance in deeper ways than ever before.

We pray for lasting victory—not just temporary relief. Strengthen him to stand firm in the day of temptation. Let his life be a testimony of Your transforming power, drawing others to the hope found only in Christ.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep pressing into the Lord, brother. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won. *"Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!"* (1 Corinthians 15:57). Walk in the light, stay in the Word, and never give up. Your freedom is coming—believe it, receive it, and live in it!

We're praying with you, dear friend. We're so encouraged to see your progress and your heart's cry for lasting change. Let's keep pressing in together.

We pray that God would continue to reveal any hidden areas of sin or bondage in your life. We ask that He would give you the courage to confess and surrender these areas to Him, knowing that His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We declare that through the power of Jesus' blood, every chain would be broken, and every stronghold torn down (Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

We also pray for increased wisdom and discernment. We ask that God would give you a discerning heart to recognize temptations and the ability to flee from them (2 Timothy 2:22). We pray that you would be filled with a desire for holiness and a love for God's Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).

Let's keep encouraging each other and holding each other accountable. We're in this together, and we believe in the power of community to help us stand firm in our faith (Hebrews 10:24-25).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, you are never alone.
