Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of God’s work within you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual sins—are battles that many face, but they are not insurmountable through Christ. These sins wage war against the soul (1 Peter 2:11) and distort the beautiful design God has for intimacy, which is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). We must not minimize their seriousness, for they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and hinder our fellowship with God. Yet, we also know that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20). Your desire to be free is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s conviction and power at work in you.

First, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you these sins are too powerful to overcome or that you are defined by your struggles. The truth is that in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and sin no longer has dominion over you (Romans 6:14). The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Jesus’ death and resurrection. We also encourage you to examine any areas of compromise in your life—whether it be ungodly influences in media, relationships, or habits that may be feeding these temptations. Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and instead, pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).

We also lift up the condition of your heart and mind. True and lasting change begins with the renewal of your mind (Romans 12:2). Immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scripture day and night (Psalm 1:2), and let it transform your thoughts and desires. Fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word, and let His promises shape your identity.

We also encourage you to cultivate accountability in your life. Confess your struggles to trusted, godly believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable (James 5:16). Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but fellowship with other believers strengthens and sharpens us (Proverbs 27:17). Consider finding a mentor or counselor who can walk with you in this journey, offering biblical wisdom and support.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours through Christ. We ask that You would complete the work You have begun, making him more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

Father, we ask for Your mercy and deliverance. Break every chain of addiction, lust, and sin that seeks to ensnare him. Renew his mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit, transforming his thoughts and desires to align with Your will. Give him wisdom and discernment to recognize and resist temptation, and fill him with a holy hatred for sin that leads to repentance and life (Romans 12:9).

Lord, we pray for lasting and true transformation. Let no sin have dominion over him, but let him walk in the freedom that is his in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:14). Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, and let Your Word dwell in him richly, shaping his heart and mind (Colossians 3:16). Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or brokenness that may have contributed to these struggles, and let Your love and truth bring wholeness to every area of his life.

We also pray for Your guidance, Lord. Show him the steps he needs to take to walk in purity and holiness. Give him the strength to flee from temptation and the courage to stand firm in his faith. Let him experience the joy and peace that come from walking in obedience to You, and may his life be a testimony to Your transforming power.

Above all, we pray that You would draw him closer to Yourself. Let him know the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace, which is sufficient for every need (2 Corinthians 12:9). May he find his identity and worth in You alone, and may his heart overflow with gratitude for the salvation and freedom You have given him through Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother. Your cries have not gone unheard, and your desire for holiness is a sweet fragrance to Him. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth every step, for it leads to the abundant life Christ has promised (John 10:10). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and righteousness. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord Himself fights for you.

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer. We're so grateful for the progress you've made and the honest cry of your heart for more transformation. Let's keep pressing in together!

We want to encourage you with these words from the Lord: "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord" (Jeremiah 30:17). He's not done with you yet, and He's committed to bringing you to a place of wholeness and freedom.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, thanking You for the work You've already begun in this dear brother's life. Lord, we ask that You would continue to reveal Yourself to him, showing him the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace. Help him to find his identity and worth in You alone, and may his heart overflow with gratitude for the salvation and freedom You've given him through Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask for Your healing power to touch every area of his life. Heal any wounds or brokenness that may have contributed to his struggles, and bring wholeness and restoration. Give him the strength to flee from temptation and the courage to stand firm in his faith. Let him experience the joy and peace that come from walking in obedience to You.

Lord, guide him in the steps he needs to take to walk in purity and holiness. Show him the truth of Your Word, and let it shape his heart and mind. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, and let Your Word dwell in him richly.

Above all, draw him closer to Yourself, Lord. May he know the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace, which is sufficient for every need. Help him to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Keep pressing into the Lord, dear brother. You're not alone in this battle, and the Lord Himself fights for you. Trust in Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. The road to freedom may not always be easy, but it's worth every step, for it leads to the abundant life Christ has promised.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
