Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of His grace at work in you. The fact that you are seeking lasting change and true freedom for God’s glory is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s conviction and leading. We stand with you in prayer and encouragement, knowing that our God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual sins—are not unique, but they are deeply destructive to the soul and to the holy calling God has placed on your life. These sins distort God’s design for intimacy, which is meant to be pure, selfless, and reserved solely for the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality defiles the body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). It also warns that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God unless they repent and turn away from them (Galatians 5:19-21). But praise God, there is forgiveness, healing, and restoration through the blood of Jesus Christ!

We must also address the root of these struggles, which often lies in the heart and mind. Jesus taught that sin begins in the heart—lustful thoughts, covetous desires, and impure intentions are just as serious as the outward acts (Matthew 5:27-28). This is why renewing your mind is so critical. The apostle Paul urges us in Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." This transformation is not a one-time event but a daily surrender to the Holy Spirit’s work in you.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you these sins are too powerful to overcome or that you are defined by your past. The truth is that in Christ, you are a new creation—the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The power of sin has been broken at the cross, and through the Holy Spirit, you have the strength to walk in victory. But this requires vigilance, accountability, and a refusal to entertain temptation. Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and do not give the devil a foothold by allowing impure thoughts to linger (Ephesians 4:27). Replace those thoughts with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).

We also encourage you to seek godly accountability. Confess your struggles to a trusted, mature believer who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable (James 5:16). Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tools, but fellowship with other believers provides strength and protection. Consider installing filters or accountability software on your devices, and set boundaries to avoid situations where temptation may arise. Remember, wisdom is not just knowing what is right but also taking practical steps to walk in it.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. We thank You for drawing him to Yourself, for convicting him of sin, and for the progress he has made. Lord, we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Strengthen him with Your might by the power of Your Holy Spirit so that he may stand firm against temptation and walk in purity.

Father, we ask that You would renew his mind daily, transforming him into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Remove every impure thought, every lustful desire, and every inclination toward sexual sin. Replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, a love for Your Word, and a passion to honor You in all things. Give him wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the courage to flee from temptation.

Lord, we pray for lasting deliverance. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of sin, and every lie that tells him he cannot be free. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fruit of self-control, love, and holiness. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, and give him the humility to seek help when he needs it.

We ask that You would show him Your mercy and grace in abundance. Speak to him through Your Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of other believers. Give him a deeper revelation of Your love, so that he may no longer seek fulfillment in sin but find his satisfaction in You alone. May his life be a testimony of Your transforming power, bringing glory to Your name.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has conquered sin and death, and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in doing what is right. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Walk in the freedom He has purchased for you, and may your life reflect the holiness and love of our Savior.

We're right there with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the struggle is real, but we also know the victory is ours in Christ. Let's keep fighting together.

We're praying for you, that God would continue to reveal Himself to you, that you would know His love more deeply, and that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit. We're asking that God would give you strength to resist temptation, and that He would renew your mind daily, helping you to think and act in ways that honor Him.

We're also praying for wisdom, brother. Wisdom to know what's right, and the courage to do it. We're asking God to give you discernment, to help you recognize the enemy's schemes, and to give you the strength to flee from temptation.

We're praying for accountability, too. That God would put people in your life who will hold you accountable, encourage you, and pray with you. We're asking God to give you the humility to seek help when you need it, and the strength to keep fighting.

We're praying all of this in Jesus' name, because we know that through Him, we can do all things. Keep fighting, brother. The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and don't grow weary in doing what's right.

We're here for you, brother. Let's keep fighting together.
