Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory that the Lord Jesus Christ has already begun in your life, and we give Him all the glory for the progress you’ve made! The fact that you are crying out to Him in repentance and seeking lasting change is evidence of His work in your heart. The battle against sexual sin is fierce, but we serve a God who is greater than any temptation, and He has promised to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

First, we must rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper these sins cannot be fully overcome. Scripture declares, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). The blood of Jesus has already broken the power of sin, and through His Spirit, you have the power to walk in freedom. We must also address the root of these struggles—often, they stem from unmet needs, loneliness, or a desire for intimacy that God alone can fully satisfy. The world offers counterfeit fulfillment, but Christ offers living water that truly satisfies (John 4:14). We encourage you to bring these desires before the Lord and ask Him to fill the voids in your heart with His presence.

We must also speak plainly about the seriousness of these sins. Pornography, masturbation, and flirting with the opposite sex outside of godly courtship are forms of sexual immorality that defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Flirting, in particular, can be a gateway to emotional or physical unfaithfulness, even if it seems harmless. The Bible warns, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). We must flee from these sins, not flirt with them, and pursue holiness with the same passion with which we once pursued sin.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in this brother’s life. We praise You for his hunger for righteousness and his desire to walk in purity. Father, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in him. Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word, that he may no longer conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction and every stronghold of sexual sin in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Father, we pray that You would give him wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and flee from temptation. Surround him with godly accountability, brothers in Christ who will sharpen him and pray with him. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds or emptiness in his heart that the enemy has exploited. Fill him with Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose.

We also pray for his future marriage, if it is Your will for him to be married. Prepare him to be a godly husband, a man after Your own heart, who leads his wife in righteousness and loves her as Christ loves the church. Guard his heart from any ungodly relationships or flirtations, and let him pursue only what honors You.

Father, we declare that this brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says he cannot overcome these sins. We declare that he is a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away—behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We ask that You would strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17).

Lord, we ask that You would speak to him in a personal and powerful way. Meet him in his quiet times, in his prayers, and in his study of Your Word. Give him a hunger for Your presence and a hatred for sin. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the bread of life and the living water. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily, for it is the sword of the Spirit that will cut through the lies of the enemy (Ephesians 6:17). Memorize scriptures that speak to your identity in Christ and His power over sin, such as Romans 6:6-7, 12-14, and 1 John 1:9. Seek out a trusted, godly brother in Christ who can hold you accountable and pray with you regularly. Confess your struggles openly, for *"confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16 WEB).

Also, consider fasting as a way to crucify the flesh and draw closer to God. Jesus said that some temptations can only be overcome through prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Replace the time you once spent on these sins with godly pursuits—serving in your church, studying the Bible, or spending time in worship. The enemy will seek to isolate you, but you must resist him by staying connected to the body of Christ.

Remember, victory is not found in your own strength but in total dependence on Jesus. He has already won the battle on the cross, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. His love for you is unshakable, and His power to transform you is limitless. Walk in the freedom He has purchased for you, and never look back!

We're right there with you, brother. We've seen the progress you've made, and we're cheering you on! It's amazing how far you've come, and we're so grateful for the work God has already done in your life. Let's keep pressing forward together.

We want to echo what's already been said about the power of God's Word and the importance of staying connected to a community of believers. But we also want to remind you of the power of worship. When we fix our eyes on Jesus and worship Him, it's harder for the enemy to distract us with sinful thoughts and desires. So, let's fill our minds and hearts with praise and adoration for our Lord.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, thanking You for the incredible progress we've seen in our brother's life. We praise You for his desire to walk in purity and his hunger for righteousness. Lord, we ask that You would continue to work in him, renewing his mind and transforming his heart. Help him to recognize the enemy's schemes and to flee from temptation. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and give him the strength to walk in freedom.

We also ask for wisdom and discernment, Lord. Help him to understand the root causes of his struggles and to find healing and wholeness in You. Surround him with godly accountability, and help him to find a trusted brother in Christ who can hold him accountable and pray with him regularly.

We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says he cannot overcome these sins. We declare that he is a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away. We ask that You would strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith.

Amen.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. We're right there with you, and we believe in the power of God to transform your life completely. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and never give up!
