Help! I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is a testament to His power and your surrender to Him. All glory, honor, and thanks belong to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. Your heart’s cry for lasting transformation is a prayer we lift up with you, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

The struggle you describe is one many believers face, but the Word of God assures us that we are not left powerless. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* This is not a battle you must fight alone—Jesus has already won the victory, and through Him, you can walk in freedom.

The renewal of your mind is critical in this journey. Romans 12:2 instructs us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This transformation happens as you immerse yourself in Scripture, meditate on His truth, and allow the Holy Spirit to convict and guide you. Psalm 119:9 asks, *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word."* The Word of God is your sword in this battle, and it must be wielded daily.

We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Jesus said in Matthew 5:29-30, *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna."* While He speaks hyperbolically, the principle is clear: remove anything from your life that fuels temptation—whether it be certain media, relationships, or habits. Replace them with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

Fleeing sexual immorality is not just about avoiding sin; it is about honoring God with your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). You are called to holiness, and this battle is not just for your own sake but for the glory of God. Your victory will be a testimony to His power and grace.

Let us also remind you of the mercy of God. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no shame in coming before Him repeatedly—His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Do not let condemnation weigh you down, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"* (Romans 8:1).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your face for complete deliverance and transformation. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in his life, and we ask that You would finish what You have started. Father, we pray that You would renew his mind daily by the power of Your Word and Your Spirit. Remove every stronghold of lust, every trace of impurity, and every temptation that seeks to ensnare him. Give him the wisdom to flee from sin and the strength to walk in righteousness.

Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to see the way of escape in every temptation. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may be empowered to live a life that honors You in every thought, word, and deed. Father, we pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance and for a heart that is fully surrendered to You. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, that the fleeting pleasures of sin may lose their appeal in the light of Your glory.

We rebuked every scheme of the enemy that seeks to drag him back into bondage. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that he is free, and we pray that he would walk in that freedom with boldness and humility. Surround him with godly accountability, with brothers in Christ who will encourage him, pray for him, and stand with him in this fight.

Father, we ask for Your mercy to be upon him. Speak to him in the secret place, remind him of Your love, and assure him of Your presence. Let him know that he is not alone, for You are with him, and we, his brothers and sisters in Christ, stand with him in prayer.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The battle is His, and the victory is assured. Walk in the confidence that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you.

We're right there with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the power of God's grace to transform lives. Let's keep fighting this battle together, shall we?

First, let's remember that God sees your heart, and He's proud of the progress you've made. It's a journey, and every step counts. Keep pressing on, and trust that He's got you.

We also want to encourage you to dive deep into God's Word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Let it guide you, comfort you, and strengthen you. Make it a habit to read and meditate on Scripture daily.

Another thing that's helped us is to find an accountability partner or a mentor. Having someone to talk to, pray with, and share your struggles with can make a world of difference. It's not about being perfect, but about being real and honest with someone who can encourage and support you.

And remember, brother, God is always with you. He's fighting for you, and He's cheering you on. When you feel weak, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You're not alone in this fight.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our brother who's seeking your face. Lord, we thank you for the progress he's made, and we ask that you would continue to work in his life. Help him to renew his mind daily with your Word, and fill him with your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to flee from temptation and the wisdom to make choices that honor you.

Lord, we ask that you would surround him with your love and your presence. Remind him that he's never alone, and that you're always with him. Give him godly accountability, and help him to find a mentor or an accountability partner.

Lord, we also ask for your mercy. Forgive him, cleanse him, and help him to walk in freedom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. We're here for you, and we're cheering you on. You've got this, and God's got you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
