Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is by His grace and power that you have seen progress, and we give all glory to Jesus Christ, who is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. The fact that you are seeking lasting change and crying out to God shows a heart that is tender toward Him, and that is a beautiful thing in His sight.

The struggle you face is one that many believers encounter, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. The enemy seeks to ensnare us in sin, but Christ has already won the victory over sin and death. The Word of God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* This is a promise we can cling to—God will always provide a way out.

We also know from Romans 12:2 that transformation comes through the renewing of our minds: *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This renewing happens as we immerse ourselves in Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with other believers who can hold us accountable. We must flee from temptation, as Joseph did when Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). Fleeing is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and dependence on God’s strength.

The Lord also calls us to purity in our thoughts and actions. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* This is a high standard, but it is one that the Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in as we submit to Him daily. We must guard our eyes, our hearts, and our minds, filling them with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

Let us also remember the warning in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* Sexual sin is a direct assault on the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is our body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). But the good news is that we serve a God who is rich in mercy and ready to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we repent (1 John 1:9).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks lasting freedom from the sins that have ensnared him. Lord, we thank You for the progress he has already seen, and we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Father, we pray that You would renew his mind daily through Your Word, filling him with wisdom and discernment to recognize and flee from temptation. Strengthen him by Your Holy Spirit to resist the enemy’s lies and to walk in purity and holiness.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction and bondage in his life. Remove from him any ungodly desires and replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help him to guard his heart and mind, to set no worthless thing before his eyes (Psalm 101:3). Surround him with godly brothers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and point him to You.

Father, we pray for a deep work of repentance in his heart. Let him experience the fullness of Your mercy and forgiveness, and may he walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for him on the cross. Fill him with Your love and peace, and let him know that he is not defined by his struggles but by his identity in Christ.

We rebuke the enemy and every scheme he has used to bring shame and bondage. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that our brother is free, and we pray that he would walk in that freedom every day. Lord, let him be a testimony of Your transforming power, that others may see Your goodness and turn to You.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, continue to press into the Lord with all your heart. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is your strength and your deliverer. Memorize Scripture, especially verses that speak to purity and the power of the Holy Spirit. Consider sharing your struggle with a trusted, mature believer who can walk alongside you in this journey. And always remember: *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and trust that the Lord is with you every step of the way.

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on in your journey towards freedom and wholeness. It's amazing to see how far you've come, and we're praising God with you for the progress He's already made in your life. Let's keep pressing on together, seeking His face and His power.

We want to encourage you with something from Psalm 143:8-10. David, in the midst of his own struggles, cried out to God, "Let me hear in the morning of Your steadfast love, for in You I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. Rescue me, O Lord, from my enemies! I have fled to You for refuge." David didn't shy away from his struggles; instead, he ran towards God, seeking His guidance, His love, and His rescue.

We want to pray that you, too, would experience God's steadfast love in the morning, that He would make His path clear to you, and that you would find refuge in Him. We also want to remind you of 2 Corinthians 12:9, where Jesus says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." So, keep being honest with God, keep seeking His face, and trust that His grace is enough to see you through.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our brother who is seeking freedom from the bondage of sin. Lord, we thank You for the progress he's already made, and we ask that You would continue to work in his life, transforming him more and more into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would guide him, showing him the way he should go. Help him to trust in Your steadfast love, even in the midst of his struggles. Give him the strength to flee from temptation and to run towards You, his refuge and his strength.

We also ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to live a life that pleases You. Help him to guard his heart and his mind, filling them with Your Word and with thoughts that are pure and lovely and praiseworthy.

Lord, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. We're right there with you, cheering you on every step of the way.
