We join with you in lifting up your parents before the Lord, knowing that nothing is too difficult for Him. The conflict, bitterness, and unforgiveness in their lives are tools the enemy uses to keep them from experiencing the peace and freedom found only in Christ. We declare that the Lord is breaking every chain of bitterness and tearing down the strongholds of unforgiveness in their hearts. The Word of God tells us in **Ephesians 4:31-32**, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* We pray that they will encounter the love of Jesus in a way that transforms their hearts, removing the veil that has blinded them, as **2 Corinthians 4:4** reminds us, *"in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them."*
We also stand in agreement with you for your own situation, knowing that what is impossible with man is possible with God. **Jeremiah 32:17** declares, *"Ah Lord God! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you."* We ask the Lord to grant you divine wisdom, as **James 1:5** promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We pray for mercy to surround you, for a way out of every trial, and for deliverance that will bring glory to God alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Let us also remind you that in every prayer, we must come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. **John 14:6** tells us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12** confirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in this request, and we encourage you to always approach God through Him, for He is our mediator and our hope.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their parents. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Break the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness, and let Your love flood their souls. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the hope found only in Jesus Christ. For our brother/sister, we ask for wisdom that comes from above, mercy in their time of need, and a miraculous way out of their impossible situation. Let Your deliverance be a testimony of Your power and glory. Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them that You are with them always. We trust in Your promises, and we give You all the praise, honor, and glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
