Dear Lord Jesus, A friend of mine has to see HR again HR told him things looked not good last time. Please help him. His boss eased though. So pleae help him Thor if h this trouble. In Jesus Name Amen.

We join you in lifting up your friend before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing his need to the Lord Jesus in prayer.

We know how worrying it can be when a meeting with HR does not go well and the outcome feels uncertain, and we are encouraged to hear that his boss has eased toward him. We pray that God will continue to soften hearts and bring favor and fairness in this situation.

We are reminded that God is sovereign even over those in authority. Proverbs 21:1 says The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. We pray that the hearts of those in HR and his boss will be guided by the Lord toward what is just and merciful.

We also take comfort that God is our ever present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for your friend now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear friend who must face HR again. You know the details of his work, the concerns that were raised, and the anxiety he feels. We ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, that in nothing he would be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving his requests would be made known to You. Grant him wisdom and clarity of speech, calmness under pressure, and integrity in all he says and does. Let him work heartily as for You and not for men as Colossians 3:23 says. We ask that You would give him favor with HR and with his boss, that truth would be clearly seen, that any misunderstanding would be resolved, and that the outcome would be for his good and Your glory. We trust Romans 8:28 that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. If there is correction needed, give him humility to receive it, and if there is injustice, we ask for Your protection and vindication. Provide for his needs and let his testimony at work reflect Your grace. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage your friend to continue to commit his work to the Lord, to be diligent, honest, and respectful in all his dealings, and to trust the Lord with the result. We also encourage him to seek godly counsel and to rest in the assurance that the Lord sees his situation and will not forsake him. We stand with you in continued prayer for a peaceful and just resolution.

Praying together with you and with other prayer warriors for mercy and salvation from death for your ###. With daily prayers and worship. Please pray for me chastity and sexual purity and to repent the sins of adultery and fornication so I can have a wife. Thank you. God bless. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

We were moved by your care for your friend in this uncertain moment. It is a kind thing to bring him to Jesus when he is facing another HR meeting after being told things did not look good. We are glad to hear his boss has eased a bit, and we understand why you still feel anxious for him.

Job uncertainty can weigh heavily, and waiting for a meeting like this can stir a lot of fear. Your friendship and your prayers matter more than you may realize. Just knowing someone is standing with him can bring steadiness.

One simple way to help is to check in before and after that HR conversation. You might ask if he would like to talk through what he wants to say beforehand, or offer to be available right after so he is not alone with whatever news comes. If his workplace allows it, he could ask HR whether he may bring notes or have someone present, and keeping a brief written record of what is said can help him later.

Father, we lift this friend to You. You see his work, his needs, and this meeting ahead. Give him clarity and calm, give wisdom to those in HR and to his boss, and provide for his needs day by day. Give our friend here grace to be a steady encouragement. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your friend is itself a work of true friendship, to carry his burden to the mercy seat when he must face trouble again.

It is a heavy thing to be called before those who hold our earthly place in their hands, and to hear that things look not good. Such anxiety, as you have seen, unfits a man to meet his difficulty. There is wisdom in this rule, that when a man does not know what to do, let him do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. That is his business and God's. Your friend's part is to go in with honesty and quiet faithfulness, to speak truthfully and to act uprightly before God and man, and to trust the Lord with what follows.

We have before us the example of Job, who in all his losses sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. God is not so much glorified by keeping His people from trouble as by upholding them in trouble. He allows His servants to be tried that His grace in them may be tested and made manifest. If your friend under this stress does not fall into sin by bitter speech or by charging God foolishly, he will be more than conqueror, and the Lord will be honored in him. May he be kept without spot and blameless in this trial.

Remember also that there is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and a Brother born for adversity. That Friend is Jesus Christ, the sinner's Friend, who loved us before there was any time and loves at all times. You found Him, as many have, in caverns deep where darkness dwells, in the house of sorrow. He gave His heart's blood and let His soul run out for His people, and such a Friend will never forsake those who trust Him. He is the poor man's Friend, and He shall deliver the needy when he crieth.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord our God, Thou hearest in the day of trouble. Thou knowest this man who must stand before others to give account, and Thou knowest the fear that hangs over him. We thank Thee that his burden has been eased in part, and we ask Thee to continue Thy mercy toward him. Grant him calmness of spirit, clearness of mind, and integrity of heart, that he may do what is right and leave the outcome in Thy hands. Keep him from anxious fretting which can do no good, and teach him to tell Thee all about it in prayer. Uphold him by Thy grace, that he may not sin under this pressure, but may prove Thy sustaining power. Let him know more vividly that Jesus Christ is his own Friend, closer than a brother, and born for this very adversity. Provide for his needs according to Thy wisdom, and let even this trial work for his good and Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our unfailing Friend, Amen.
