PRAYER FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I do not always walk as closely with You as I should. Forgive me for all the times when I became distracted by worldly obligations and pursuits. Forgive me for the times that I have detoured off the right path on to various pathways of sin. Forgive me for the times I have allowed myself to be trapped by the snares of men or the enemy because I did not walk in wisdom. Forgive me for all the times I fell too far behind Christ and got lost. Forgive me for not walking in Your ways. Forgive me for the times my heart and desires where on the things of the world instead of on my walk with Christ. Forgive me of the times I walked with wicked people and became a partaker of their sins when I should have been walking with Christ. Forgive me of all the times I did not live up to Your holy standards. Forgive me of all the times I did not walk in love and show that Christian love towards others. Forgive me of all the times I did not walk in integrity and uprightness. Forgive me of all my disobedient ways and rebelliousness. Forgive me for the times I was lead astray by false doctrines or heretical teachings. Forgive me for all the times I have left the path of righteousness to walk in darkness.
Heavenly Father, forgive me and cleanse me of all my sins and help me to walk with Christ. Help me to walk in wisdom so I can avoid all dark and wicked paths. Help me to walk in the light of Christ so I will not stumble in the darkness. Take away from me all stubbornness and rebelliousness so I can walk in obedience. Help me to play by the rules that You have established and to always use Your word as my rule book and road map. Help me to walk in love, the way Christ did, that I may show others that same kindness, compassion, mercy, and self-sacrifice that He did. Help me to be honest and upright in everything I do.
Heavenly Father forgive me of all my sins, cleanse me and sanctify me and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to walk in the Spirit so I can be successful in my walk with Christ. Help me to walk in the Spirit so I can be victorious over the flesh, the world, and the devil. Help me to walk in the Spirit so that the love of God can be perfected in me and so that the fruit of the Spirit will be manifested in my life. Help me to walk in the Spirit so I can live in holiness and be an overcomer. I desire to walk in the Spirit so I can crucify all my fleshly affections and desires. Help me to walk in the Spirit so I can successfully walk in all the ways of God. Help me to walk in the Spirit so I can use my spiritual gifts to bless and edify the body of Christ and glorify You. I ask all these things in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom our victory is made possible, amen
REPENTING OF UNHOLY SEXUAL SINS/UNIONS

I repent of all my sexual sins and ask forgiveness for having offended, abused or molested the following persons:______________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________ Forgive me of any promiscuous sexual unions and relationships that have developed unholy soul-ties in my life. I repent of all unholy sexual relationships that were in disobedience to the will of God and His standards concerning sexual conduct. Forgive me for transgressing your moral laws concerning sexual conduct which have allowed the enemy to set up sexual strongholds and bondages in my life and wage war in my bodily members. Forgive me for making provision for the flesh by viewing inappropriate books, movies, magazines, literature, etc, which have encouraged bad thoughts and fostered my fleshly lusts. Forgive me for entertaining ungodly thoughts and for all the sexually unclean and defiling actions that I have committed as a result of these wrong and lustful thought patterns. Forgive me of all the ways that I have transgressed your moral standards and all of my sexual misconduct. Forgive me of all the ways that I have sinned against my own body and for using my body and its members as instruments of unrighteousness.
I renounce all sexual misconduct, all sexual sins against my own body, all unholy sexual unions with others, any sexual offenses or abuses against others, any provision made to support my fleshly lusts, and refuse any further association with sexual misconduct that is condemned by the word of God. I renounce all sexual bondages by Satan as perversions of God’s moral standards. I renounce and severe all my soul-ties from unholy sexual unions and relationships, in disobedience to God’s moral and righteous standards, with ________________________________________________________ I Choose to turn from this wrong way of life and from all unclean sexual indulgence and present my body to the Lord Jesus Christ, as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him. I choose to reserve the sexual use of my body for my current marriage partner or (if single) for the marriage partner that the Lord has chosen for me and to honor my marriage covenants with my spouse.
I release all sexual strongholds and addictions that Satan has erected in my life as a result of my sins and I ask the Lord to dismantle, pull down and completely destroy these sexual bondages according to 2 Cor. 10:4. I ask you Lord to deliver me and set me free from all sexual immorality and sexual misconduct. I ask for you, Lord, to loose and deliver me from all evil influences and evil spirits that have invaded my life as a result of my sins and iniquities. Bring physical and spiritual healing to me and all I may have offended, abused or molested. I choose to abide by your holy standards, as written in your word, concerning sexual conduct. Wash me and cleanse me of all sexual unrighteousness with the precious blood of Jesus. I choose to abstain from any further unholy sexual sins and unions and refrain from any type of sexual misconduct, whatsoever. Seal all doorways that I opened to the enemy and bind me to the will of God and to His moral laws concerning proper sexual conduct so my body can be a clean temple for the Holy Spirit and so I can glorify God in my body and in my spirit according to 1 Cor. 6:19,20. Thank you for your mercy and forgiveness. Thank you for cleansing me of all sexual unrighteousness. Thank you for removing my sexual strongholds and for setting me free from sexual bondage. Thank you for all your help, deliverance and healing as I rededicate my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. All this I ask in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, Amen.
