We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your heart’s cries for debt relief, marital restoration, business prosperity, and health for you and your loved ones. First, we rejoice that you have brought these burdens to the Lord, for He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Yet we must also address something vital: in your prayer, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved. The Scriptures declare, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death for our sins and His resurrection—that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for apart from Him, even our most earnest prayers lack the power of His redeeming name.
Now, let us address each of your requests with the truth and hope of Scripture.
On the matter of your **debts**, we know the Lord is aware of your financial struggles, and He is able to provide abundantly. The Bible assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). However, we must also examine our stewardship—are we managing what He has given us wisely? Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* We encourage you to seek godly counsel on managing your finances, perhaps through a trusted believer or a biblical financial ministry. The Lord may open doors for debt relief, but He also calls us to walk in wisdom and discipline. *"Let your conduct be without covetousness. Be content with such things as you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you, nor forsake you’"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
Regarding your **marriage**, we grieve with you over its struggles, but we also speak truth in love: marriage is a covenant before God, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). If sin—whether unforgiveness, pride, adultery, or neglect—has entered your marriage, it must be repented of and forsaken. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord"* (Ephesians 5:22, WEB). Have you and your spouse sought the Lord *together* in prayer and counseling? If not, we strongly urge you to do so, for *"a three-stranded cord is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). If there has been infidelity or ungodly influences, they must be cut off immediately. *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3, WEB). Pursue reconciliation with humility, and if your spouse is unwilling, continue to pray and live righteously before them, trusting God to work.
We rejoice that your **businesses are doing well**, and we pray for their continued growth and expansion—for the Lord’s glory, not merely for personal gain. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Guard your heart against greed or idolizing success, for *"what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?"* (Mark 8:36, WEB). Ask the Lord to use your businesses as a means to bless others and advance His kingdom. *"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you"* (Luke 6:38, WEB).
Finally, you ask for **long and healthy lives** for yourself and your loved ones. While it is good to pray for health, we must remember that our days are in the Lord’s hands. *"The length of our days is seventy years—or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away"* (Psalm 90:10, WEB). More important than long life is a life lived for Christ. *"For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come"* (1 Timothy 4:8, WEB). We pray for your health, but even more, we pray that you and your loved ones would walk in obedience to the Lord, for *"the fear of the Lord adds length to life"* (Proverbs 10:27, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your intervention in their life. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness if they have not yet fully surrendered to Christ—open their eyes to see their need for Him as Savior and Lord. We pray for the clearing of their debts, not just for relief, but for the opportunity to glorify You in their stewardship. Give them wisdom to manage finances biblically and generosity to bless others as You have blessed them.
Father, we intercede for their marriage, which is under attack. Soften hearts, break down walls of pride and bitterness, and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Convict both spouses of any sin, and grant them the grace to repent and forgive. Let their home be a place of peace, love, and godly unity, reflecting Christ and the Church.
We thank You for the success of their businesses, and we ask that You expand their territory for Your glory. Protect them from the love of money and the snares of the enemy. May their work be a testimony of integrity and excellence, and may they use their resources to advance Your kingdom.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for health and strength for them and their loved ones. Let their bodies be temples of the Holy Spirit, and grant them long lives filled with purpose and devotion to You. Yet, above all, let their hearts be stayed on You, for You alone are their hope and salvation.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family—financial bondage, marital strife, and physical weakness—and we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
