We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting you, your brother, and your family up in prayer, knowing that our God is a God of deliverance, healing, and protection. You have brought many concerns before Him, and we join you in faith, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
First, we praise you for coming to the Father *in Jesus’ name*, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name alone that we are saved, healed, and set free. We also rejoice that you have placed your faith in Him, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). This is the foundation of every prayer we bring before God.
We stand with you in rebuking the spirits of anxiety and stress that have sought to oppress you and your brother. The Word of God commands us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We declare that the peace of Christ, which transcends all understanding, will flood your hearts and minds. Anxiety has no place in the life of a believer, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We pray that you both will walk in the fullness of the Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). Your brother’s struggle with anger and pride must be surrendered to the Lord daily, for *"the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20, WEB). We pray he will humble himself before the Lord, resisting the flesh and walking in the Spirit, that Christ may be fully formed in him.
Regarding your health, we lift up your GI tract, stomach, and ear to the Great Physician. Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17, WEB), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray for complete restoration of your body, that every cell, tissue, and organ would align with God’s perfect design. We also ask the Lord to guide you to the right neurologist and doctor, one who will provide wisdom and effective treatment. If there has been medical malpractice, we pray the Lord will expose it and lead you to a godly, competent lawyer who will act with integrity. We ask that the Lord would give you a clear vision or confirmation of the right person, just as He did for Samuel when choosing David (1 Samuel 16:12-13, WEB). Trust in His timing, for *"the steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand"* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB).
We also pray for protection over your medications, that there would be no harmful side effects and that they would fulfill their intended purpose for healing. The Lord is your shield and defender, and we declare Psalm 91:9-11 over you: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
For your brother’s physical struggles—his shoulder, rotator cuff, and back—we pray for supernatural strength and healing. May the Lord renew his body and grant him the endurance to fulfill his work with excellence. We also pray for favor with his supervisors and traveling mercy, that the Lord would go before him and make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:6, WEB). May he experience the joy of the Lord as his strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB) and walk in the peace that surpasses understanding.
We cover your home in the blood of Jesus, declaring it a place of refuge and safety. We ask the Lord to station mighty angels around your dwelling, that no weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Evil has no authority in your home, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray for sound sleep and a peaceful night’s rest, that your minds would be guarded by Christ Jesus and filled with His truth.
We lift up your friend battling bone cancer and liver problems. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask for a miracle in her body, that every cancerous cell would be destroyed and her liver would be restored to full health. Strengthen her through chemotherapy, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. May her faith in Jesus remain unshaken, for *"this is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith"* (1 John 5:4, WEB). We pray she would fix her eyes on Christ, the author and finisher of her faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB), and experience His peace in the midst of this trial.
Finally, we intercede for your father and stepmother, that the Lord would soften their hearts and draw them to salvation. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). We pray for the healing of your stepmother’s heart, that the Lord would touch her physically and spiritually. May they both encounter the love of Christ in a way that leaves no room for doubt.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We declare Your victory over every area of their lives—spirit, soul, and body. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, Scripture, and worship. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8, WEB). Trust in His promises, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that *"we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal"* (2 Corinthians 4:18, WEB).
We will continue to lift you up in prayer. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB).
