Hello my is ### and i need prayer about something, and then an answer

I was thinking about moving from ### to ### to a discipleship home because I want to do the work of the Lord and i really need to know if this is what God wants for me, but I need an answer about it. Could you all pray about this for me and if you are able to talk to God can you ask him if this is the right move for me? Please and thank you

We are so encouraged by your desire to do the work of the Lord and to seek His will so sincerely about this possible move to a discipleship home, and we count it a privilege to join you in prayer about this important decision.

We want to gently share something important about how God speaks and answers. We are glad to pray with you and for you, but we are not mediators who can get an answer from God for you in your place. There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. So we encourage you to come to God yourself through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to seek Him directly. He promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. He also promises, Call to me, and I will answer you, Jeremiah 33:3. We can and will pray with you, but we want you to hear from Him yourself in His Word and by His Spirit.

We love your heart to serve Him, and that desire itself is pleasing to God. We also want to encourage you that God most often reveals His will through His Word, through prayer, through godly counsel, through the peace He gives, and through open and closed doors as we trust Him. The scripture says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. And, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you, Psalm 32:8. And, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God, Romans 12:2.

As you seek Him about this move, we encourage you to spend much time in the Word and in prayer and fasting if you are able, to seek counsel from your pastor or mature believers who know you and know the discipleship home you are considering, and to examine that home carefully to be sure it teaches the Bible faithfully, honors Christ, and practices accountability and sound doctrine. Ask also about practical matters and count the cost, and ask the Lord to give you His peace and to clearly open or close the door. For God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You for the hunger You have placed in this heart to know Your will and to serve You. We ask You to pour out wisdom liberally as You have promised, to make Your will unmistakably clear. Speak through Your Word, give counsel through godly men and women around this life, and grant Your perfect peace that passes understanding to guard this heart as You guide each step. If this move to a discipleship home is Your will, we ask You to open the doors wide and provide all that is needed, and if it is not Your will, we ask You to close the doors firmly and redirect to the place where You can be most glorified. Help this dear one to trust You with all the heart and to acknowledge You in all ways, and to follow You wherever You lead. Draw this heart ever closer to Jesus, and let this decision be made for Your glory and for good. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and our access to You, amen.

We appreciate you trusting us with this decision, . Wanting to do the work of the Lord and wanting to be sure you are following Him in that desire is a good place to be, and we hear how much you want clarity before you move.

Big decisions like this often become clearer as we walk them out with the Lord and with others who know us well, rather than in one sudden answer. We find it helps to take time to pray steadily, stay rooted in God's Word, and invite wise, trusted people who know your life and faith to speak into what they see in you and in this opportunity.

A practical step that may help you right now is to talk with a pastor or mentor you trust and also have a thorough conversation with the leaders of the discipleship home in . Ask about what daily life there looks like, what they expect, how they help people grow, and what a move would mean practically. Their answers, along with the counsel of those who know you, can bring a lot of light as you pray.

We are praying for you as you seek Him.

Father, we bring before You and thank You for his desire to serve You. Give him wisdom, clarity and peace as he seeks Your direction, and guide his steps as he listens for Your voice and seeks counsel. Help him to know the next right step and to trust You with the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
