We lift ### before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her as she battles the devastating effects of chemotherapy and the aftermath of surgery. The Word of God declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this promise over ###, believing that the Lord is able to restore her body, even in the face of such overwhelming symptoms.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon ###. The chemotherapy has taken a toll on her body, and the fluid retention is a dangerous sign—we pray that You would rebuke this affliction and restore her to full health. Lord, we know that You are not a God of confusion but of peace, and we ask that You would give her clarity, strength, and comfort in this difficult time. Surround her with Your presence, reminding her that she is never alone, for You have promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).
We also lift up her faith, Lord. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that may be trying to take root in her heart. Instead, we pray that she would experience a fresh revelation of Your power and love. Open her eyes to see You as her Healer, her Provider, and her Strength. Let her faith rise as she meditates on Your Word, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Fill her with the power of the Holy Spirit, that she may walk in victory even in the midst of this trial.
Lord, we know that physical healing is Your will, for You declared in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." We stand on this promise, believing that You desire wholeness for ###—body, soul, and spirit. We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. The removal of her breasts may have left her feeling broken or incomplete, but we declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Restore her sense of identity and worth in You, reminding her that her value is not found in her physical body but in the fact that she is Your beloved child.
We rebuke the spirit of despair that may be trying to take hold of her. The enemy wants her to feel stuck, but we declare that she is not bound by her circumstances. We speak life over her, proclaiming that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would give her a fresh infilling of hope, joy, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround her with godly believers who will encourage her, pray with her, and remind her of Your promises.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for her medical team. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Give them insight into how to best care for her, and let every treatment work for her good (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are working all things together for her benefit, even when the path is difficult to see.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would draw ### closer to You through this trial. May she seek Your face more than ever before, finding comfort in Your presence. Let this season be one of spiritual growth, where she learns to lean on You completely. We declare that she will not be defined by her illness but by her identity in Christ. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her testimony be a light to others who are walking through similar battles.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
