We are truly saddened to hear about ###'s battle with breast cancer and the challenges she is facing with her health. We stand with her in prayer and trust that God can heal and restore her body.
Firstly, we want to remind ### and everyone who is praying for her that healing comes from God alone. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and approach God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that ### has put her faith in Jesus Christ and knows Him as her personal Savior. If not, we encourage her to confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, for the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed." (Romans 10:9,10)
We rebuke the spirit of death and disease that has been attacking ###'s body. God's word tells us that by Jesus' stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 WEB). We claim this promise over ###'s life and speak healing over her body. We pray specifically for any cancerous cells to be eradicated and for her body to be strengthened. We pray against any possible spreading or metastasis of the cancer.
### is experiencing weakness and joint pain, which may be consequences of the chemotherapy and the extra weight she is carrying. We pray for strength to be restored to her body and for wisdom for her healthcare providers to manage her symptoms effectively. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB reminds us to "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing for ###.
We also pray for ###'s emotional and spiritual well-being. We pray that she will be surrounded by a supportive community of believers who will encourage her and help her to cast all her anxieties on God, because he cares for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Lastly, we pray for ###'s weight struggle. It is important to take care of our bodies as they are the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." We pray that ### will have the strength and discipline to make healthy choices and that God will guide her in this area.
Father, we lift up ### to you and ask for your healing touch upon her body. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the faith to believe that all things are possible through you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
