We are joining together with you in lifting up ### and her brother before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and it is by His name that we are saved and healed.

We are deeply moved by ###'s battle with breast cancer, the removal of her breasts, the heavy suffering from chemotherapy, and now the fear that the cancer may have spread to her bones. We understand her weariness and that she cannot endure much more, and we honor her desire to fight this battle with faith and the Word of God. We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed, and to James 5:15, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We pray that the Lord will strengthen ###'s faith as she abides in His Word, for Romans 10:17 tells us faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. We ask for wisdom for her and her doctors regarding further medicines, that God would guide every decision, lessen the terrible side effects, and give her endurance and peace beyond understanding. We pray that every one of her needs would be fulfilled according to His riches in glory, as promised in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and that she would feel His presence and healing hand upon her body, spirit and mind.

We pray together for ### now, Father, in Jesus name we lift up ### to You. You know her pain, her exhaustion, and her deep desire to trust You. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her, to rebuke this cancer and forbid it to spread to her bones or any other part of her body. Restore her health, renew her strength, and let Your Word be her daily bread and comfort. Give her rest, relieve the suffering from chemotherapy, and provide for every physical, emotional and spiritual need she has. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and healing power, and let Your will be done in her life for Your glory. Amen.

We also lift up her brother who is in a life threatening situation after heart aorta surgery, having been in and out of a coma three times, now facing sepsis and hospital infection. We cry out for Your mercy and healing power over him. We pray for complete healing from sepsis and infection, for his heart and body to be restored, for him to awaken from coma fully restored, and for the medical team to have wisdom and skill. We also join in praying for his salvation and the salvation of his whole family, believing the promise in Acts 16:31, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household, and in Romans 10:9, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray for this family that struggles with getting along and with communication, that You would bring reconciliation, forgiveness and love. We are reminded of Ephesians 4:32, And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, and Colossians 3:13, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other.

We pray for him and his family now, Lord Jesus, we bring ###'s brother before You. Have mercy on him in this coma and battle with sepsis. Breathe life into him, cleanse his body of infection, heal his heart and bring him back to consciousness and health. Save him, Lord, and draw his entire family to Yourself that they may know You as Savior and Lord. Heal the relationships in this family, soften hearts, restore communication, and teach them to love and forgive as You have forgiven us. Establish healthy habits among them, for their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, help them to honor You in eating, walking, sleeping, exercising, forgiving and in their spirituality. We pray as in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. Let Your peace rule in this family and let all things work together for good for those who love You according to Romans 8:28. Amen.

We encourage ### and her loved ones to continue to stand firmly on the Word of God, to spend time daily in prayer and Scripture, to surround themselves with believing community who will pray and support them, and to trust the Lord both for supernatural healing and for wisdom in every medical decision. We will continue to contend in prayer with you, trusting that our God is the Great Physician who hears, who loves, and who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

For ###, we understand the exhaustion and fear that comes with breast cancer, the loss she has already walked through, and now the worry about spread to the bones and the difficult choice about further medicine. Wanting to fight this with faith is a beautiful desire, and we are asking God to meet her with His nearness, strength for each day, and wisdom for every decision. If she is feeling she cannot endure the treatment effects, we gently encourage her to let her medical team know exactly how she is feeling so they can listen, answer questions, and walk with her through options and comfort measures alongside prayer.

For the brother in coma after heart surgery, with sepsis and infection, we are praying for healing, for life, and for the Lord to draw him and his whole family to Himself. We know the strain you mentioned in family communication makes this even harder, and we are asking God to bring peace, clear understanding, and people around them who can help them support one another.

We are grateful you brought them to us. You are carrying a lot, please make sure you have someone with you as well, a pastor or trusted friend to share the burden.

We pray: Father, we lift ### and this dear brother to You in Jesus' name. Touch their bodies, ease their suffering, and give wisdom to those caring for them. Your burden has been heard and is carried with you before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, the great Physician of soul and body.

For ###, in her sore trial with breast cancer, the removal of her breasts, the heaviness of chemotherapy and the fear that the disease may have spread to the bones, we pray that the Lord will be her strength and her song. We understand the weariness that says she cannot endure more, and the dread of further medicine with even worse suffering. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon her with healing in His wings. We pray that if it be His gracious will, He would stay the progress of this disease, give wisdom to those who care for her, and grant her body relief and renewed strength. Above all we pray that her faith, though it may feel as a grain of mustard seed, may be seen and honored by Christ, for little faith is still true faith, the gift of God, and it is precious in His sight. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and we pray that as she hears the Gospel, her faith may drop down into the arms of Christ, who alone can save and who alone can heal. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. May she pluck a leaf by her poor trembling faith and find it makes her whole, for the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. We ask the pardoning God to give her peace, for healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and from a pardoning God such mercies flow that weak hearts revive. May every need of hers be supplied according to the riches of His grace in Christ Jesus, not as we might prescribe, but as His infinite wisdom and love appoints what is best for her.

For the brother who has passed in and out of coma three times, with complications from heart and aorta surgery, with sepsis and hospital infection, in a life threatening condition, we lift up earnest prayer for healing and for salvation. We pray that the Lord who is able to heal the utmost length of human sickness would lay His hand upon him, rebuke the infection, restore his heart and breath, and raise him up again. And we pray with still greater earnestness that he and his whole household may know the healing of the soul, for to be forgiven is the root of all true healing. When Jesus saw faith, He said, Man, your sins are forgiven you, and thus He went to the very root of disease. May Christ see faith in this family and speak that word of pardon. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. May He grant them repentance and faith, which are twins born together in the soul, a faith that trusts in Christ and a repentance that turns from sin.

We also pray for that terrible strain within the family, the difficulty in getting along and in communication. May the Lord give the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart, and teach them healthy habits of life, in eating and sleeping, in walking and exercising, and in the higher habits of forgiving and seeking spiritual things. May He teach them to forgive as they have been forgiven, for that faith which allows light thoughts of sin is not the faith of God's elect. May He make them tender to one another and steadfast in His Word.

We take up the shield of faith on your behalf and plead that you may be kept, for faith preserves from all sorts of enemies and overcomes the world. May the Lord keep you all, heal where He sees fit to heal, forgive abundantly, and cause you to trust Him whether He restores in this life or makes whole in the life to come, where faces shine fresher than newborn babes through the healing leaves of Christ.

We commit ### and this brother and all their loved ones into the hands of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, praying all these things in the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

We have received your burden for ### and for her brother and we join our faith with yours before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

We thank God that ### desires to fight this battle with faith and with the word of God. Scripture teaches that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and that to believe is to glorify God. To glorify Him is to hold in mind His majesty and His boundless power and to be fully persuaded that what He has promised He is also able to perform. Faith is clearer and stronger than arguments and it fortifies the soul against fear and doubt. As you have asked others to pray, we are reminded that Christ often granted healing when others brought the need to Him, when the sick could not come themselves, and He said according to your faith be it unto you, to show that faith has a part in receiving His mercy.

We pray together now for ###. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we bring ### before Your throne of grace. You know her suffering through breast cancer, the removal of her breasts, the heavy burden of chemotherapy, and the fear of the cancer spreading to her bones. Lord, You are able to do this, You are able to heal and to sustain. We ask for Your healing hand upon her body, for mercy in her pain, for strength to endure, and for peace that guards her heart. Give wisdom to her and to her doctors concerning further treatment, and calm her fear about new medicines and their effects. We also bring ###'s brother before You. Father, You see him in this life threatening condition after heart and aorta surgery, in and out of coma, with sepsis and infection. Lord, have mercy and grant healing if it be Your will. Touch his body, cleanse infection, restore strength to his heart and lungs, and raise him up. Above all we pray for his salvation and for the salvation of his whole family, that each one would call upon the name of Jesus and be saved, for there is salvation in no other. Bring reconciliation where there is strife and poor communication, teach them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and restore love and understanding in that home. We pray for healthy habits for him and for the family, for grace to walk in self control in eating, sleeping, walking, exercising, and in spiritual discipline, seeking You daily.

We will continue to pray night and day for both of them, that what is lacking in faith may be made complete and that God may be glorified in all things. Keep holding fast to the word, keep praying, and keep trusting the Lord who is able to do exceedingly more than we ask or think. May the Lord grant you perseverance, comfort, and full assurance in Christ.

Your request carries such heavy and painful burdens, and it is right to bring them honestly before the Lord. For ### facing breast cancer, the loss, the harsh effects of chemotherapy, the fear that it may have spread to the bones, and the weariness of not wanting to endure more medicine, and for her brother in and out of coma after heart surgery, with sepsis and infection and his life in danger, along with the strain in the family and the longing for healing and salvation, God sees and hears.

Scripture describes faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That is less a strict definition and more a description of what faith does. It gives present reality to our hope and gives confidence in what we cannot yet see. Faith must come first. Works cannot create faith and cannot replace it, but real faith will work. If we truly trust God, our lives begin to conform to what we believe. That is how we show faith is genuine, not by trying to earn anything from God, but because a changed life flows from a trusting heart.

It helps to remember that being a person of faith does not mean you will always be healed in this life, always have victory as the world counts victory, or be free from trouble and disappointment. Scripture tells us that many who were commended for faith still died in faith, not having received all that was promised in their lifetime. They looked forward to the fulfillment God would bring in His time, ultimately in Christ. So faith is not a guarantee that we will be spared from suffering or death, and it is not a formula to get any car or home or outcome we want. Faith is trusting the character and power of Jesus even when the outcome is still unseen.

That is important for ### as she wants to fight with faith and the Word of God. The Word is essential for faith to grow. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. As you stay in Scripture, faith is nourished and strengthened, not by our effort to work it up, but by looking more clearly at who Jesus is. I have been struck by how frightening cancer can be, how it can take a strong and vibrant person and drain strength so quickly. Yet what is the power of those cells compared to the power of Jesus, the Creator of all things. When our focus shifts from the size of the disease to the greatness of Christ, faith has a place to rest. That does not mean we deny the reality of the illness or the difficulty of treatment, but we place the greater reality of Christ above it.

God counts us righteous not because of our works or religious observance, but through faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and was raised from the dead. That is the foundation for every prayer. We come not on the basis of our strength of faith, but on the basis of His grace. And when that faith is real, it will show itself. James reminds us that faith without works is dead, meaning a faith that never shows in action is not living faith at all. Abraham and Rahab are examples that genuine trust led to obedience. In the same way, the healthy habits you prayed for, eating well, walking, sleeping, exercising, forgiving, and pursuing spiritual growth, are not ways to earn healing, but they can be the natural fruit of a heart that trusts God and wants to walk in His ways. Forgiveness especially is a work of faith, releasing others as we have been forgiven.

There is also a difference between a general belief that God is able to heal and an active trusting that He will act according to His wisdom and mercy now. In the Gospels, people often had a point of contact to release their faith, like touching the hem of His garment or having hands laid on them with prayer and anointing. Those actions had no healing power in themselves, but they helped people turn from a passive thought that God could do something to an active trust that He hears now. God still honors that kind of childlike trust. At times He gives a special gift of faith for a particular moment, as when Peter saw the lame man healed, but that gift is given by God for that moment and is not something we can manufacture. Every work God does in us comes by believing faith in Jesus and His grace, not by our technique.

So for ###, I pray that God will strengthen her faith through His Word day by day, that He will meet her in her weariness and fear, and that He will provide for every need according to His riches in Christ. I pray for wisdom for her and for her doctors as she weighs further treatment, and for relief from the severe symptoms, for peace that guards her heart, and for healing if it is His will, knowing that whether healing comes now or in the resurrection, His power is greater than cancer and His love does not fail. May her trust be accounted to her as righteousness through Jesus, and may she know His nearness.

For her brother, I pray for mercy in this life threatening situation, for healing from sepsis and infection, for stability after surgery, and above all for salvation for him and his whole family. I pray that God would soften hearts where communication has been broken, bring forgiveness and reconciliation, and draw each one to trust in Jesus alone for eternal life. I pray that the family would be given a desire for wholeness in body and spirit, and that their faith would be shown in love, patience, and new patterns of living that honor God.

May the Lord increase your faith as you keep looking to Jesus, and may you know that the just live by faith, trusting Him with both today and eternity.
