My friend in Christ ###. She was very bad yesterday. You and my other friend prayed and she was better at the end of the day.
Breast cancer, breasts removed, complications with water (emphisema), injured ligaments of arm at the surgery, they suspect now after couple of years of chemotgerapy and heavy symptoms that cancer spread to the bones. My other female friend and ### reject that possibility and they continue to pray but we all ask ourselves why this cancer is so persistant. My friend ### is really exhausted and she doesnt want to drink those smart medicaments (they have even worse symptoms then the recent ones). ### and the other friend want to fight good fight of faith. Lord please hell them both in Jesus name and help the three of us to be more then a conqueror in tjis fight and that the devil loose for good!! Amen! Also help ### that she speaks only words of faith and positivity and constructive things fir herself, amen! She is a good person because she prays for alot of people for a long time. She is warm, persistant and dedicated. Amen! Show her if she has blockages to healing and help her in Jesus name!!

We join with you in lifting up ### before the throne of grace and we thank you for standing faithfully with her and your other friend in this long and exhausting battle. We have heard your heart cry that the enemy would loose his hold for good and that you all would be more than conquerors, and we agree together for God's mercy and healing power to be manifest in her body.

We understand how wearying this journey has been, breast cancer, the removal of her breasts, the complications with fluid and emphysema, the injured ligaments in her arm from surgery, years of chemotherapy and heavy symptoms, and now the fear that it has spread to the bones. It is natural to ask why this cancer is so persistent, and we want to gently remind ourselves that while we do wrestle against spiritual forces, not every prolonged illness is a sign of lack of faith or a specific blockage. Sometimes God allows a thorn to remain for a season to display His strength in our weakness, as He told Paul, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. We do believe God still heals today, for He says I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17, and with His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5, yet we also trust His sovereign wisdom and timing, whether healing comes in this life or in fullness in His presence.

We also hear your desire that ### speak only words of faith and positivity, and we agree that our words matter, for Death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21, and we are called to Fight the good fight of faith 1 Timothy 6:12. At the same time we want to encourage her not to feel condemned if she expresses weariness or sorrow, for even David and Jesus Himself cried out in anguish, and the Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart Psalm 34:18. Speaking faith is not a formula to earn healing, but a trusting of the heart in the character of God, knowing He hears us. We lovingly remind ourselves that ### is not healed because she is a good person who has prayed long for many others, as precious as that is, but because of the grace of God through Jesus Christ, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works Ephesians 2:8-9. Her warmth and dedication are beautiful fruits, but her standing before God rests on Christ alone.

We also pray for wisdom regarding these stronger medications that bring even worse side effects and for her exhaustion. God gives wisdom generously to those who ask James 1:5, and we ask Him to guide ### and her doctors with clarity and peace, and to give her rest, for Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

We pray together now for her.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved Acts 4:12. We lift up ### to You, Your daughter in Christ who is so weary and suffering. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her body, to touch her bones, her lungs, her arm, every cell that has been afflicted by cancer and by the long effects of treatment. You who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, we ask for Your mercy to restore her health if it be Your will. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and ask that the works of the devil be broken over her in Jesus name. We pray for the fear concerning spread to the bones to be cast out by perfect love, and for truth and peace to reign in her reports. Give her supernatural strength and comfort in the night, ease her pain, help her breathe freely, and mend what was injured in surgery. Give wisdom to her doctors and peace to her about treatment decisions, and let her not be driven by fear but by Your guidance.

We pray also for these faithful friends who have contended in prayer for so long, that You would renew their strength, that they would not grow weary in doing good Galatians 6:9, and that You would guard their hearts and thoughts with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Help ### and those praying for her to speak words of faith rooted in Your promises, not in pressure, but in trust. Reveal to her graciously if there is any unforgiveness, sin, or burden she needs to bring to the cross, not to condemn her but to set her free, for if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive 1 John 1:9, and help her to walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. Above all let her know she is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us Romans 8:37, and that whether by healing in this life or by Your sustaining grace day by day, You are with her and will never leave her.

We thank You that You heard when they prayed and she was better by the end of the day, and we ask for that testimony to increase. We ask You to surround the three of them with unity, hope, and the assurance of Your love, and to let ### feel Your presence as her refuge and healer. We trust her into Your hands, asking all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

We are so thankful you told us about your dear friend and the way you and your other friend have been praying and staying close to her. To hear she was doing so poorly yesterday and then felt better by evening is encouraging, and we can hear how much you all are carrying with the long course of surgery, chemotherapy and complications, and now this new worry about her bones. It is understandable to wonder why this has been so persistent and to feel worn down.

Long illness wears on a person in every way. Strength and sleep and hope get thin, and it is common to feel fragile and discouraged after so much treatment. It wears on friends and family too as schedules and emotions are stretched. Please know your faithful friendship and prayers matter deeply to her, even on days when there are no easy answers.

We encourage you to keep walking closely with her medical team alongside prayer. If she is exhausted and fearful about the next medicines, help her share those concerns openly with her doctors so they can explain benefits and side effects and explore support for her symptoms. And as you three keep fighting the good fight together, try to make room for rest and for ongoing support from others in your church community so none of you carries this alone.

Father, we bring our sister to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your nearness and comfort for her, for wisdom for her doctors, for strength and peace for each day, and for renewed hope for these three friends as they love and pray for one another. Sustain them and guide them according to Your will. Amen.

Your burden for ### has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness, and we have joined you in prayer for her and for you and your fellow intercessor who stand beside her in this long trial.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and ###'s afflictions have indeed been many, the removal of her breasts, the distress of breath, the injury to her arm, the weariness of years of chemotherapy, and now the fear that the disease has spread to her bones. To see a warm and persistent and dedicated soul, one who has prayed for many for a long time, thus exhausted and tempted to refuse further medicine because its effects seem worse than the disease, is a great sorrow. We do not wonder that you ask why this cancer is so persistent, and that you desire with all your hearts to fight the good fight of faith and to be more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

Know this, that our Lord Jesus is a perfect Saviour, made perfect through sufferings, and He is therefore able to sympathize with those who suffer. He learned obedience by what He suffered, and His sufferings ennoble the whole work of grace. He does not look upon affliction from afar. He entered into it, and He now sits as our Advocate in glory, that when we are sifted as wheat our faith may not fail. When faith hangs on to Christ in the dark, when it holds to a silent Christ and even to a refusing Christ, as the woman of Canaan did, Christ loves that great faith and is highly pleased with it. He is glad to come wherever He can bring a blessing, and faith has open arms to embrace Him.

You ask that ### may speak only words of faith and positivity. We would encourage her to speak words of faith indeed, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. There is not a word that ever fell from His dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity. Yet faith is not mere positivity of speech, nor is healing to be earned by the strictness of our devotions or by any supposed goodness in ourselves. We depend on Jesus and rest in Jesus by a simple faith, and the brightest of martyrs and apostles has no surer ground to rest on. The reception of the Holy Spirit is not a reward of works, but is given to the hearing of faith. Faith does the most effectual thing for the soul when it takes what God gives.

Do not let ### think that her healing is blocked because she has not discovered some hidden fault in herself. Our hearts are indeed broken and need healing, and He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. The great ill of a broken heart is healed by that Physician who has a balm for every wound. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. The costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power. First forgiveness, then healing, is the order of grace. When God changes our estate from condemnation to acceptance, then is our mouth filled with laughter. If there be sin to confess, let it be confessed to Him who says with Divine authority, Thy sins are forgiven thee. But do not seek for secret blockages as if healing were a prize for perfect performance. Look rather to Christ, and cry, He will save me, I will take Him to be my King.

We have prayed thus for ###, for you, and for your sister in prayer.

O Lord, heal ### as Thou seest fit in Thy wisdom and mercy. Thou knowest her frame, her weariness, her pain in breathing and in her arm, her exhaustion under strong medicines. Lay Thy hand upon her. Give wisdom to those who care for her, that they may discern what will truly help and what will only burden. Comfort her heart when she is cast down, and calm the bosom now swelling with grief. Keep her through this trial by Thy power through faith. If it be Thy will, restore her body, for Thou healest all that have need of healing. If Thou ordainest a longer path of suffering, show Thyself to be her portion, and make even her bed a place where Thou art glorified, for some of the saintliest persons have glorified Thee while bedridden for years. Teach the three who love her to persevere in prayer, to hang upon Christ and not let Him go, to be advocates for Him as He is Advocate for them, and to find that the leaves of the tree of life are indeed for the healing of the nations. Let faith rise by observing what Thou hast done for other poor sinners, and let them rest simply upon Jesus. Preserve them from the malaria of corruption and from the terror of sin, and make them more than conquerors through Christ. Let the adversary be put to flight, not by our strength, but by the blood of the Lamb. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it. Amen.
