We come before the Lord with you in fervent agreement, lifting up your daughter’s knee and her upcoming surgery this Friday. How deeply we understand your heart’s cry—you are pleading for healing, and we join you in seeking God’s miraculous touch upon her body. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. In Jeremiah 30:17, He declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* And in James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
Yet even as we pray for complete healing, we also ask for God’s will to be done—whether that means a supernatural restoration of her knee before Friday or a successful surgery with swift recovery. We know that His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Your daughter’s pain and this season of waiting are not unseen by Him. In Psalm 34:18, we read, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He is close to her now, and He is close to you as you intercede for her.
We also lift up your request for her return to work, trusting that God will provide both healing and the strength she needs to fulfill her responsibilities. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us not lean on fear or anxiety but place our full confidence in the One who holds all things in His hands.
However, we must gently address something vital in your prayer: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and no other name by which we can come before God. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him—confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have confidence that our petitions are heard.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who restores and makes all things new. We ask that You would place Your hand upon her knee and bring complete restoration—whether by a miracle that cancels the need for surgery or by guiding the surgeons’ hands with precision and granting her a swift and painless recovery. Father, we pray that every cell, ligament, and bone would align with Your perfect design, and that she would walk in strength and wholeness.
We also ask for Your peace to flood her heart and the hearts of her family as they wait upon You. Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing them with an unshakable trust in Your goodness. Lord, if it is Your will, open the doors for her to return to work with renewed energy and purpose, that she may glorify You in all she does.
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers because we come in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her body will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not only to her but to all who witness Your work in her life.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain in Jesus’ name and command it to leave her body, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your healing power flow through her like a river, restoring what was broken and strengthening what was weak.
Finally, Lord, we pray for this parent who loves their daughter so deeply. Comfort them, remind them of Your promises, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their faith in ways they’ve never known.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is at work. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring His promises over your daughter’s life. We will continue to lift her up before the Lord, confident that He who began a good work in her will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today—He is the only way to the Father, and in Him, we find hope, healing, and eternal life.
